The genius of the running-elevator gag in Police Squad! is how Leslie Nielsen and Alan North manage to keep perfectly straight faces. I have no idea how many takes it took, but North not even blinking through the flowers and the arrow is unbelievable.

Men who murder their children's mother retain their parental rights when in jail. A law passed two years ago to suspend those rights whilst they're in prison - still isn't in force. Any chance the ''protect are women lads'' will protest about this? news.sky.com/video/killer-ha…

My children sometimes ask me how did people make arrangements to meet up before phones. Well, back in 1930's Shepherds Bush there was always the personal columns of the local paper...

Sometimes...... I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. Andy Burnham says he is going to send illegal migrants to every postcode in the UK. Only @reformparty_uk MPs are fighting this whilst Labour MPs support it. I don't want rapists, paedophiles, murderers and terrorists sending to every postcode. 1200 illegals have arrived over the past few days. Have a listen to this.

Trump’s idea of “friendly fire” 🤦‍♂️
Trump: I could have won the Vietnam War in a week. They kept bombing forests for years instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ho Chi Minh City was called Saigon during the Vietnam War and was the capital of US-allied South Vietnam; North Vietnam's capital was Hanoi. britannica.com/place/Ho-Chi-M… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fall_of_S… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho_Chi_Mi…

Trump says he could have won the Vietnam War in a week. By bombing Ho Chi Minh City. IDIOT. The United States was defending Ho Chi Minh city, the capitol of South Vietnam. The enemy was North Vietnam, it's capitol is Hanoi. And by the way the United States did conduct limited bombing near Hanoi, but direct bombing of Hanoi itself would likely have drawn China or the Soviet Union into directly fighting against the United States. My God. This stupid violent idiot is Commander in Chief of the United States.
