It's a busy night on Tichondrius. Essence is entering hour NINE of their overtime raid. Spirits are at an all time low, and in discord the cursed words have been spoken - "We're going till we kill it." We're monitoring the situation, but chances are the guild dies before the boss
Despite multiple raiders stating they don't want to raid due to the new POE league, Incarnate of Tich is adding an extra night. Even with a player missing, 6+ poor souls are being held hostage, forced to progress with a suboptimal comp while the replacement learns the fight.
Instant Dollars of Mal'ganis have continued their assault upon common decency and reasonable raid hours by adding a Saturday overtime raid to their Friday overtime raid last night. New year, same degenerates.
In other news, xD of Area 52 added 6 hours of weekend overtime in an attempt to kill Darkvein. They'll claim they did it for fun, but we doubt spending 6 hours Friday night failing to kill a boss is very enjoyable.
After investigating this Council progression we're fairly sure Imperative has more "one last pull" attempts than most guilds have total attempts.
Watching Imperative start their 4th "last pull" of the night really worries me. If you ask someone if they want to keep pulling and they don't respond, they don't want to keep pulling. Learn consent! If any Imperative raiders want to write a twitlonger we can post it anonymously!
Mythic week is here and the lowlifes are clamoring for meaningless early boss NA kill ranks. If you know a guild doing a "for fun" dayraid in an attempt to brute force bosses with low skill players, report them here.
This is the inevitable fate of every overtime raider. Every "one more pull" brings you closer to this. Just say no to extra time, just say no to extra days.
If you see something, say something! A new tier is here, look for the classic early signs of overtime raiding:
-"One more pull" 20 minutes after raid time is over
-Pulling 30 minutes early b/c raid "happened" to be there early
-Makeup days for future raids you "might" miss
<didnt ask> (Netherwind-US) is currently in hour 14 of Naxxramas "progression" with no end in sight. Overtime raiding sadly isn't limited to retail, talk to your kids about reasonable raid hours before you find them in a 15 year old instance at 2 AM on a Friday.
It's interesting that you don't see anyone in the top 12 hour/week guilds getting caught up in sexual assault/harassment allegations. Really speaks to the character of overtime raiders.
