Someone predicted that Binance would get hacked in 2026 or 2027. And now, looking at everything happening with crypto security, something definitely feels off. Regardless of what’s happening, I believe we should all be familiar with basic crypto security practices. So, if you’re new to crypto or haven’t paid much attention to security practices, here are a few things you should know: 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 ➠ Keep long-term holdings in cold storage. ➠ Use separate wallets for trading, DeFi, airdrops and long-term holdings. ➠ Never share or store your seed phrase on internet-connected devices. ➠ Never blindly sign transactions or messages. ➠ Verify wallet addresses before sending funds. ➠ Regularly revoke unnecessary token approvals. 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 ➠ Keep your devices, browsers and wallet apps updated. ➠ Remove unnecessary browser extensions. ➠ Never install cracked software on your crypto devices. ➠ Avoid suspicious links and unfamiliar downloads. ➠ Never run terminal commands you don’t understand.
