Oxenhope Rec AFC

Following today’s official league trophy presentation, it’s finally time to say it out loud, Oxenhope Recreation AFC Reserves are 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦! 🏆 This team is something special 🧡 #UTO

𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗨𝗣 | Two cup games and one league game for you tomorrow. Hopefully we don’t have any scary results 👻 #UTO 🟠⚫️

FT - 5 minutes of madness to finish the game, as Ox fight tooth and nail to get one back. And for a moment they thought they had, if it wasn’t for a dubious offside flag. A tough battle in grim conditions with Gomersal unfortunately taking the points. 🟠 Oxenhope 1-2 Gomersal 🔵

80’ SUBS - Elliot Scott OFF Rory Langdon OFF Auser Ta Seti ON Brad Brooksbank ON

63’ SUB - Brad McDonnell OFF Seth Pamment OFF Jake Scott OFF Keenan Potts ON Josh Debenham ON Ben Risby ON

HT - Conditions, horrendous. Score, could be better. Ox boys looked good up until those last 5 mins when we went to sleep. Wind behind us in the 2nd half so hopefully we can bring it back. 🟠 Oxenhope 1-2 Gomersal 🔵

42’ Goal to Gomersal - Gomersal keeper makes a great save from a McDonnell shot and they’re break. We don’t close down and they finish well in the bottom corner. Closely followed by another which I didn’t see as I was typing this, but a scramble appaz. 🟠 Ox 1-2 Gomersal 🔵

33’ GOOOOOAL to Oxenhope - Dan Hey works a lovely ball into the advancing Pamment who plays it into Langdon who slots it in the back of the net 👏🏼 🟠 Oxenhope 1-0 Gomersal 🔵

7’ Gomersal no.9 in the book for a late challenge.

KO - It’s grim up at Ox, but we’re ready for a storm of a game. Oxenhope in orange and Gomersal and Cleckheaton in dark blue. 🟠0-0🔵

𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗨𝗣 | We’re in Keighley Cup action tomorrow, well two of our teams are. Our first team game is cancelled as FC Keighley United are unable to raise a team. Our reserves host Worth Valley at home and our Devs Team face Silsden Whitestar down at Marley! #UTO !! 🟠⚫️
