I could hate on the older generation of Chinese to English translators all I want but they simply didn't have the resources we do today. I'm translating a new book about poverty alleviation in a specific area and here in Chicago I was able to search by location on Chinese social media and just immediately start interviewing people who live there to help give me more context. Translation work has never been this smooth and globalized it's insane.

While I'm not Religious myself, I do admire the basic teachings in the Bible, as well as the Quran. All very basic things born out of human kindness. Like Jesus' teachings. All remarkably compatible with communist beliefs. I would keep Religion out of government, but that's all.
