Incredible year overall. 1 LAN win, Pro Am, Grand finals at champs, multiple elites, multiple cups and EWC soon to finish it off. Could not say bad things about anyone involved this year. Besides all the wins, every single person involved became family and brothers💛

So incredibly backwards, we’ve just come off the back of one of the greatest challengers seasons OAT in terms of talent/exposure with the majority of that talent STRICTLY coming via the NA & EU regions but we’re rewarded by prize pool reductions 😂 The path to pro should be available to every single region but don’t rob Peter to pay Paul, how about you use some of the revenue you pay these “CDL” teams and support the orgs that are feeding your ecosystem.
News: Prizing for Elites has gone down again to make up for the expansion to all the extra regions. 1st place in an Elite in BO6 was $24,000 1st place in an Elite in BO7 was $20,000 1st place in an Elite in MW4 is $12,000 for NA/EU, $5000 for MENA/LATAM/APAC

The reason challengers thrived this season was mainly due to more orgs coming in and investing, how on earth do you expect them to stay or new ones come in if you cut prizing in a big tournament almost in half? Other regions deserve support, not at the cost of your main regions.

To piggyback off of this, this is the third year in a row where they used “giving more to challengers” as a cover for spending the same amount of money by just spreading it out. This overall does nothing for the players, coaches and organizations rather than make it more expensive and not sustainable for everyone in challengers. As Rafi said we are living in a world where all talent comes through the pit first and we are going to attract less and push away more of this talent player/coaches and org wise and ruin the CDL product from the bottom to the top. The amount of people investing in themselves to achieve their dream in every region we have, to just be defunded year after year is just disappointing.
Growth should be funded by investment, not subtraction. $24K → $20K → $12K for NA/EU, while new regions get a laughable amount. If expansion matters, fund it with real budget, not by cutting the players who ARE the product. 99% of players promoted come from the regions you are choking out and the funding falls on the orgs you aren’t subsidizing or supporting fiscally to keep feeding your league year in and year out. Unacceptable.

Sad to see P7 not included, arguably the best team on paper and a great org who did amazing work last season.
The 4 Challengers teams joining all 12 CDL teams in the @MonsterEnergy Launch Invitational 👀 → @Huntsmen → @StallionsCOD → @OMiTGG → @tBushGaming #MW4 | @MonsterGaming
