One of my favorite brushes with greatness. December '16 and I told @sirpatstew his crazed, self-destructive cable political host in "Blunt Talk" was PERFECT (and I should know). He quizzed me for half an hour as prep for a 2nd season that sadly never came
A lovely funny man #RIP

Congratulations to @LulaOficial on his re-election.
Together, our two governments have promoted shared values of democracy, social justice and climate action since 2024 and look forward to continuing to do so.
His victory is a historic win for the global progressive movement.

Cry harder, bitch.
STEVE BANNON: The Secretary of State and the President need to come out now, cut off diplomatic relations, and shut down everything with Brazil.
No trade, nothing. This is an illegitimate Marxist globalist government.
If you donβt think this election stealing is coming here, you're dead wrong.
If we don't take action, itβs happening here next Tuesday.

3 hours ago the Brazilian Supreme Court rejected any challenge to the election results.
Just now Flavio Bolsonaro has dropped his objections.
Lula is President it cannot be stopped, and Flavio Bolsonaro will be going on trial for corruption.
And then to jail.

In the next year we can block the Fascists in Spain, defeat them in France.
Then we can get rid of that disgusting Israel bootlicking toad Milei in Argentina.
Lula is the start, the Fascists wall is coming down.

Yesterday, Brazil showed the world that the will of the people is stronger than the authoritarians who try to suppress it. Congratulations President @LulaOficial and congratulations Brazil.

This is the best article of why Lula was able to turn it around.
Populist FDR style βNew Dealβ policies in the country, the people of Brazil appreciate. This is the antidote to the right wing populism, oligarch/fascist fkry, consolidation of wealth and power, and use of hatred scapegoating the politically weak and marginalized people. This is to fascism what garlic is to vampires. FDR knew it and used it to beat back the rise of the Fascist NAZI movement in the USA in the 30s. Itβs time for a New, New Deal.
