We need to start listening to the voices of young people. Ewing Law is doing this work and has been doing so over the last decade.

Stop fearing ruin.
You will not be defeated.
You will simply learn, get better, continue with clearer intention and wisdom.
But you as a person will not be held back over time. Even if a project fails. Even if you screwed up.
Societal change is everybody’s responsibility; working together we can move mountains.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.

Now the hard work really begins to implement and improve the lives of children and young people in Hackney✊🏿
So, pleased to present @HacYoungFutures report with recommendations to be approved at Cabinet. Great contributions from @JermainJackman @Shekeila_S & @mayorofhackney @CarolineSelman we gave young people a platform to speak about their experiences they gave us solutions! #youth

I knew standing in Party elections as a young Black man would never be an easy ride. I hope campaigning to get onto the NEC will mean my experiences are not repeated in our strides for greater representation.

We are pleased to hear Kes Eccleston is the first recipient of the Architecture Photography Fund. Over the next year Kes will be mentored by architect Luke O’Donovon as he produces an architectural portfolio on the derelict spaces surrounding redevelopment areas.

An incredible achievement Margaret, love the picture too! I think we've both done our bit to show 'you are never too old...' 👏

What is important is not so much how long you live as whether you live a meaningful life. This doesn’t mean accumulating money and fame, but being of service to your fellow human beings. It means helping others if you can, but even if you can’t do that, at least not harming them.
