This is because of a significant reduction in passengers at the airport, and to help keep other trains running for key workers.

It's been two years since the chaos of the 2018 timetable crash, yet the 'Williams Rail Review' still hasn't been published. Now, there are rumours that it will never be released at all.
⬇️Here's the latest government statement on the issue:
ALT Snip of a written Parliamentary question. On 12th May, Lord Rosser asked when the Williams Rail Review will be published. On 27th May, Baroness Vere of Norbiton replied the following: "The Williams Rail Review was in the final stages of drafting at the outbreak of COVID-19. The Government views the purpose of the reforms as important as ever, but further work needs to be done now to reflect the impact of COVID-19 on the sector. We are progressing with this work."

Hurray! In response to our campaign, ministers have agreed to accept cheaper Southern fare for off-peak Brighton-London journeys on Gatwick Express when Southern services are suspended during the Gatwick upgrade

On the 1745 from LBG to Brighton. Currently stuck at Three Bridges because there is no driver relief. The current driver is going to continue the journey otherwise we’d be stuck. There is no logic to your system. @CarolineLucas @TLRailUK

This may be a long shot but I know how powerful the Twitter world can be. I’m profoundly deaf and have been out of work since 2009. Loads of barriers due to employers being unsure of taking deaf people on. Looking for data input jobs using computers. Retweets greatly appreciated

@northernassist @TPExpressTrains travelling on your network this week has been hideous. On average it's taken 1.5 hours to travel from HDY to HUDDS. Trains unsafe with overcrowding. Passengers unable to board. I dread to think what this is costing the economy #northernpowerhouse
