Six years ago, I started a project that was everything you aren't supposed to do. A big, hours-long single player action game with cutscenes and side quests galore. After release two years ago, I've more than tripled the size of the game, and I'm not done yet. #gamedev

Musashi as the main protagonist for an Onimusha trilogy, Okuni as a second playable character with Takamura’s big ass sword in the sequel (where we learn more about Ganryu on the side), and then end w a redemption arc for Ganryu as a third playable protag in the final game 🔥🔥🔥

Finished Onimusha. Loved it. If the series is to maintain its format w a sequel, it could use a more visually-interesting hub, more rewarding exploration, and WAY more compelling side quests. Game’s got holes, but otherwise it’s killer, and I expect a follow up to be an easy goty

Musashi is legit one of the most entertaining protagonists I’ve seen in years. Carries the whole fucking game on his shoulders like Atlas. Consistently funny and watchable, over the top when it counts, subtle when the moment calls for it, drops fire ass lines all the time

I've been saying this for over a DECADE now, ever since playing Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, but more survival horror games should have a door-locking mechanic! Silent Hill: Townfall lets you do this, and it's such a fun, small thing for a horror game to have!

the reviews of Resonant are strong, but they’re just making me remember — Remedy always makes great games, but they always stumble with them too. just makes me adore them even more tbh, aint nobody perfect

Control’s combat got repetitive and it was totally fucked on the performance front on launch. Alan Wake II is a flawed masterpiece with bland core gameplay, simplistic survival horror and strange decisions all over the place. I’m sure Resonant will have some glaring flaws as well
