I heard a loud noise and came out on the balcony to see smoke and fire down the street (east). Kudos to @OrlandoFireDept and @OrlandoPolice who responded quickly to Osceola and Jackson. Hope no one was hurt!

Hey @RepFine why are you looking through someone’s mailbox while you’re out canvassing? Not only is it wrong, it’s creepy AF.
Randy Fine is a menace to basic human decency.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of Americans signed their names to a piece of parchment and made a promise no nation had ever made before: that we're all created equal, endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights — life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
We're the only nation in history built not on ethnicity, or blood, or geography but on an idea. That's always been what makes us exceptional. We chose that path 250 years ago but that’s where the work began, not where it ended. Every generation has had to choose it again. At Valley Forge, at Gettysburg, on the beaches of Normandy, in the streets of Selma. Americans recommitted themselves to the principles on which our nation was founded.
Now it's our turn.
There's nothing guaranteed about our democracy. We have to fight for it, defend it, and earn it. Over and over, year after year. That's not a burden. That's what it means to be an American.
250 years in, we still haven't fully lived up to those words in the Declaration. But we've never walked away from them, and this July 4, I hope all of us can commit to one thing: that we never will. I don't believe we're as divided as we're told we are. I've bet my whole life on the American people, and I'm not stopping now.
Happy 250th birthday, America. Our story isn't finished. Let's keep writing it together.

Accepting the 38th Liberty Medal from the U.S. National Constitution Center, Pope Leo prayed that the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States would be an occasion for a solemn recommitment to the fundamental ideals on which the country was founded, especially life and freedom.
On @Wimbledon Center Court: Swiatek vs Eala was an incredible match, with @Martina in the gallery. Looking forward to more on this July 4th!

The earliest known record of a pet with a name dates back more than 3,450 years to ancient Egypt. The cat was called Nedjem, a name that translates to “Sweet One” or simply “Sweetie.”
Nedjem belonged to Puimre, a high-ranking official who served as the Second Priest of Amun and oversaw temple estates and religious ceremonies at Karnak Temple.
The cat’s name appears in Puimre’s decorated tomb at the Theban Necropolis, where Nedjem is shown beneath a chair, a common artistic way of depicting beloved household pets.
The name Nedjem (ndm) means “Sweet One,” “Pleasant One,” or “Delightful One.” It was also used as a personal name in ancient Egypt, suggesting it was an affectionate and familiar term rather than one reserved for animals.
Nedjem offers rare evidence of the close bond ancient Egyptians could share with their pets. Although cats were valued for protecting grain stores from rodents and snakes and were linked to the goddess Bastet, they were also cherished companions.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Nedjem is the earliest known named cat from around 1450 BCE, not the earliest named pet; dogs like Beha (c. 2400 BCE) and Abutiu (c. 2280 BCE) predate it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abutiu guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_i…
