Florida State draws better viewership & ratings than the majority of both SEC & Big Ten schools, yet they should settle for earning less for no logical reason at all?
Miami is more relevant right now than most of those schools as well, but they should just quietly accept this?
Randy Levine is completely out of touch with reality.
NEW: The Protect College Sports Act is facing pressure in the House of Representatives due to the conference expansion provision, via @RossDellenger:
"What’s very disturbing to me, is that we have this amazing bipartisan bill which got 77 votes in the US Senate, where the Moody amendment was passed, and yet, principally Miami and Florida State continue to try and undermine the bill, which even they say is great for the game, over the fact that they want to blow up the ACC when the Big Ten and SEC have told me as recently as today that neither has any plans to expand," New York Yankees president Randy Levine said.

College athletes put their bodies on the line every day—and generate billions of dollars for their universities, conferences, and the NCAA.
The Protect College Sports Act pulls the rug out from under them.
I will keep fighting alongside college athletes until they get the rights and protections they deserve.

AP Poll is getting out of hand.
Duke is 4-0, eight game win streak, and we can’t put them ahead of Missouri.
What has Tennessee done, besides blow out Kennesaw State?
Kentucky got blown out 45-17 and beat a bad Texas A&M team, sure let’s rank them!
Ole Miss still in the Top 10 despite a 24 point loss at this stage in the season is terrible.

The weekend matchup for the #Canes will be simple. Stop the run and go back to fundamental football. Defense must tackle, communicate and stay disciplined! Offense will create big plays with new guys but it's the OL I want to see new faces and opportunities to build on the future

Miami didn’t lose because of this, but man you can clearly tell something was wrong with the headset as he took it off and handed it to an assistant. I never get political here but presidents interfering in pivotal sports games to get attention is unacceptable.
Steve Sarkisian told @BobbyBurtonOTF that Donald Trump’s departure from the national title game disrupted Miami’s headset communications.
Here’s what happened — and what Miami experienced during the 4th quarter, via @bmarcello, @JTalty and me.

ESPN has been rigging the CFP Invitational for thirteen years. Announcing a strength of conference metric now mostly indicates realignment is about to pop off.

Can you imagine the @NFL, three weeks into the season, announcing that they are changing how playoff seeding is determined?
The lawlessness of college football is rotting the sport from within.
NEW: The College Football Playoff committee will now consider a strength-of-conference metric in its selection process, @CFBHeather reports.
The new metric will help determine the strength of each conference based on the schedule strength of each team in its league.

Florida has beaten Miami twice in 35 years. We gotta stop arguing with these idiots!

Miami waltzed through 2 ranked SEC teams in the CFP last year.
If half the ranked SEC teams didn’t have the SEC logo on their jersey, they wouldn’t be ranked.
Lewis Wagner retweeted
1) the committee's job is to evaluate teams, not conferences.
2) without substantially larger OOC sample sizes, any data model trying to evaluate conference strength is subject to circular logic and a high degree of potential error.
Anything the committee might use to say that TeamB1 is better than Team A1 because Team B2 beat team A2 is a fool's errand
