Pakistan-made three-wheelers have entered the Philippine market! 🇵🇰🤝🇵🇭
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. inaugurated the assembly plant of Pakistan’s Sazgar Engineering Works Limited.
Facilitated by the Embassy of 🇵🇰, Sazgar is introducing its passenger, commercial three-wheelers and electric vehicles (EVs).

The Embassy of Pakistan in Manila observed Kashmir Black Day to mark the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian forces on 27 October 1947.
Members of the Pakistani community and the Kashmiri diaspora attended the event, which featured messages from the leadership of Pakistan and a documentary highlighting the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people.
In her remarks, Ambassador Dr. Asima Rabbani emphasized that Kashmir is not merely a territorial dispute but concerns the inalienable right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people. She reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmir cause and called upon the international community to implement relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The ceremony concluded with a dua for the victims of Indian atrocities.

The meeting highlighted the potential for expanded trade cooperation, increased market access for Pakistani rice, and closer engagement between the two countries’ business communities. Ambassador Rabbani also invited PRIA members to participate in FoodAg 2026, scheduled for 23-26 November in Karachi, Pakistan, to explore new business opportunities and establish direct connections with Pakistani exporters. 🇵🇰🤝🇵🇭

Dr. @AsimaRabbani, Ambassador of 🇵🇰 to 🇵🇭, addressed the International World Rice Conference in Manila, highlighting Pakistan’s readiness to supply at least 1 million metric tonnes of rice annually. She urged stakeholders to turn the historic Pakistan-Philippines rice connection into stronger partnerships, expanded trade and enhanced food security.

The meeting focused on social protection and poverty reduction initiatives in Pakistan and the Philippines. Senator Rubina Khalid briefed the Secretary on BISP’s experience in Pakistan, including its cash transfer and other support programmes for vulnerable segments of society.She highlighted BISP’s evolving focus on skills development to equip young people with skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
Both sides expressed interest in strengthening mutual learning and sharing experiences on effective approaches to social protection, poverty reduction and empowerment of vulnerable communities.🇵🇰🤝🇵🇭

The dinner was also attended by senior officials from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The delegation is in Manila to participate in the ADB-organised Asia-Pacific Social Protection Week, being held from 6-9 October 2026.
