“That was the reason Glasner left Palace, he wanted an ambitious club where he doesn’t lose players every year.” Glasner’s enjoyed working with Elliot Anderson this year.
This is the context. Jamie was asked about managers that could replace Man United over the weekend on LIVE TV, he mentioned Unai Emery. Villa fans didn’t take it well and dragged me on social media. He doubled down on STF and also told the fans to shut tf. He’s not entirely wrong. Big clubs are big clubs. A Man United, no matter what they’re going through is still bigger than Villa, and they can poach coaches and players of these clubs. Chelsea didn’t even make champions league but got Villa’s best player. Emery keeps losing players every year. That was the reason Glasner left Palace, he wanted an ambitious club where he doesn’t lose players every year. Emery suffers that and can’t build on what he’s done the previous season. He almost has to restart again. I think Villa fans should be fighting their management. However, for me, I love Emery at Villa and I love Villa, don’t want him to leave, but it’s football, he might want a bigger challenge. I do not get the basis for initiating legal action, what would it be about? Lawyers can educate me though. Jamie Carragher is a pundit and is being paid to talk and analyse games on Sky. If they ask him who he thinks should take over if Carrick leaves, and he says Emery, why are they coming for him? He actually rates the coach that’s why or?

Brighton continue their remarkable record of being knocked out of every single Cup Competition they’ve entered in their history 👏

Wow - a Hillsborough Hero and a great guy who also wrote a fantastic foreword for my first book. He really went above and beyond in supporting me. Really sad to hear of his troubles but delighted he’s rebuilding his life.

One Crystal Palace fan. One European final. Two impossible journeys. My new book, The Longest Road to Leipzig, is out this week. Kindle preorders are live now, paperbacks go on sale Thursday. It tells the story of my route from Bristol to Stansted to Dublin to Cologne to Bensberg to Dresden to Red Bull Arena, alongside Palace’s unlikely journey to three trophies in just over a year. Plus Subbuteo, La Bamba, currywurst, cool Polish coach drivers, half-and-half scarves, Michael Olise sticker albums, gefüllte Streuselschnecke – and the story of the lad on the Ultras 05 banner. Some of the best away days I ever did were at Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Derby County. None came close to winning the FA Cup but I look back on them as fondly as ones at the big 6.
Yeah I’d rather see my club play in the top flight rather than play Barnsley Norwich etc.

This years holiday read by @PalaceAddict, decent memories being jogged of the torrid 2010 times, from a time before the glorious landslide of them in 25/26. – at Solidaridad, Quintana Roo

Sorry but Crystal Palace must be the most boring club to Support Always mid-Table, No relegation scraps, No high flying seasons,Never a decent cup run. Nothing.

#NFFC fans ignore that UEFA were sympathetic to us until their owner tooled up with lawyers. What they don’t seem to understand is that while they were happy with a day out in Porto and being battered by Villa in the weakest ever Europa League, Glasner and Palace wanted to win it

No longer holders but we will forever be Winners with our name etched in silver. Off to Brentford today without much care for the result. The feelings couldn’t be more different from setting off this time exactly a year ago for a date with destiny!
