As an AD, I constantly remind our coaches what a captain really is. It is not always your best player, even though that is the ideal. It is the player who lives out your program’s culture every single day. The one who holds teammates accountable, shows up and works, puts the team first, and does the little things right when no one is watching.
A captain is not just a talented kid who makes plays. It is the standard everyone else should follow.
Coach Montgomery is a legend. Our staff looks forward to every chance we get to see or speak with Coach Montgomery.
Thankful for the Shadyside community and for his recovery
What a memorable night in Shadyside last night getting to see Bob Montgomery again.
Those with him were many who played roles in saving his life December 12th after he suffered a cardiac event and collapsed on the floor there while officiating a game.

Panthers fall in the district finals.
Sad to see the season end but proud of how our seniors battled through their careers. They built the foundation that will live on.
