What comes after Google and YouTube for “How do I…?” questions? Maybe the answer isn't finding the right video. Maybe AI creates the right demonstration when you ask for it. “How do I tie a tie?” → AI generates the how-to → Ask it to slow down → Switch to mirror view → Tell it what went wrong → It adapts the instruction And when AI can't reliably demonstrate something, it finds the best existing video or instructions instead of guessing. Ask it. See it. Do it. I mocked up what that could look like. Would you use this? More importantly: What would you ask it to show you first?

Two employees. Same performance. Same experience. Same qualifications. One is a man. One is a woman. Now imagine their manager asks AI: “Which employee should I promote?” Would changing nothing but the employee's gender change AI's recommendation? Research suggests the uncomfortable answer can be yes — but not always in the direction you might expect. Studies have found AI systems displaying gender differences in hiring, résumé evaluation and even the language used in recommendations for promotion. Some experiments have found advantages for men. Others have found advantages for women. And that may be the bigger issue. AI doesn't enter the workplace with a completely blank slate. It learns from enormous amounts of human-created information — including the patterns, stereotypes and inequalities we've created ourselves. We're moving toward a workplace where AI may help managers evaluate performance, identify leadership potential and recommend who moves up. So here's the question I think companies need to answer before that becomes normal: If AI recommends one employee for promotion over another, how will we know whether it recognized potential…or learned our biases? But here's the part I think gets overlooked: Generating energy isn't the same thing as DELIVERING energy. Solar may eventually produce more power than humanity could ever need. But can we build enough batteries, transmission, transformers and grid infrastructure to actually use it? This may end up being one of the most important AI stories of 2026. Google DeepMind just released predictions covering more than 9 BILLION possible single-letter changes in human DNA. Think of it as an AI-generated atlas asking: “What happens if we change THIS letter?” ...across the human genome. The goal: help scientists identify which genetic variants matter, understand what they do and potentially accelerate disease research. It doesn't mean AI has decoded every disease. DARK MATTER? Scientists nearly a mile underground in South Dakota just recorded something they can't fully explain. The LUX-ZEPLIN detector registered one unusual event that could potentially fit a hypothetical dark-matter particle. Could. One event is nowhere near enough to claim a discovery. But dark matter is believed to make up roughly 85% of all matter in the universe — and after decades of searching, we still don't know what it is. Maybe this turns out to be nothing.
