With the publication of Beyond Point Pleasant: The Mothman in Essex, we're sharing some material from our research at Little Braxted Recorded during a visit in December 2025, this possible EVP is another element of our ongoing enquiries into the reports. What do you make of it?

Closely linked to a case we're currently researching, we've visited many times, but never a place that Laura has been able to connect with, with us only recording a poor EVP during one of our earlier visits in the Granary.

However, it remains a popular investigation venue for hire, even to this day. Have you ever visited or investigated here?

Today's discovery was a rather unusual little find, which is now safely home and added to our ever growing collection. We're not going to say too much about it yet, but, it's certainly provided some food for thought. More relating to our Essex Mothman research coming very soon.

An interesting opportunity to explore aspects of Essex's witchcraft history, in a setting with it's own significant connections to the county's past, with the site of the Assizes Court, where Chelmsford's Witch Trials were held, in front of the Hall.

In Part Two of our 2013 Ghost Box evaluation sessions, we share another recording and explain why we eventually discontinued the sessions. The recordings raise interesting questions but, what do they actually demonstrate? Listen and decide for yourself. paranormalreason.com/a-demon…

The original caption records that he knocked shortly after this photograph was taken. Almost 81 years later, what do we make of the methods used? From the original issue in our collection.

MEDIUM CAUGHT HOLDING TRUMPET — PSYCHIC NEWS, 7 NOVEMBER 1992 (ISSUE 3152) The Scole Experiment is often held up as one of the finest examples of research into life after death. Yet one episode from its early history undoubtedly raises uncomfortable questions.

But what became of the incident afterwards? Why does it receive so little attention in accounts of the Scole Experiment? For us, the episode raises important questions about evidence, transparency and how controversial incidents are treated in paranormal research.
