Fr James Martin's LGBT group Outreach has published an “LGBT Confiteor” for use by “LGBT Catholics”
The prayer also references “queer saints”:
“Therefore I ask all my spiritual ancestors, queer saints, and you, the human family, to pray with me, that together we might build a better tomorrow.”

It was very good to be in Assisi for the 40th International Meeting for Peace yesterday. In the Papal Basilica of St Francis, we gathered for an ecumenical service of Christian prayer for peace in our world.
Then we joined other faith leaders and representatives for the closing ceremony, to renew our commitment to working together for peace. In a powerful video address, Pope Leo XIV urged us to continue to live ‘the spirit of Assisi’ that began with the first meeting convened 40 years ago by Pope John Paul II.
In the name of Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace, I join with the Pope in praying that we would each be ‘unarmed instruments of the Lord’s peace.’

Traditional Catholic pilgrims of the Ad Petri Sedem pilgrimage have been blocked this morning from entering St Peter’s Basilica to pray at the tomb of St Peter. The Vatican stopped the procession at the obelisk in St Peter’s Square, the border of Italian jurisdiction, according to @messainlatino.
The Vatican has also prohibited a Pontifical Mass to be celebrated this afternoon in the Basilica of St Mary Major. Instead it will be a Prelatial Low Mass and can last no more than one hour @messainlatino. Bishop Athanasius Schneider will be the celebrant.

Our local bishop is banning the St Michael prayer from the end of Mass.
His article, in the local Catholic paper, explains that in order to celebrate the liturgy “in accordance with the mind of the Church” priests need to “catechize the people of God as we move away from additional prayers recited together immediately before, during, and immediately after Mass.”
