This is actually blowing my mind with how brazen they are
Over the last 18 months, I’ve tweeted a lot about Cody Brown, often met with responses that I’m hater
But he isn’t real. There is no Cody Brown, it’s a company based in Europe. A company owned by FanDuel.
Now posting with one of the biggest FanDuel spokespeople, in addition to the tabs he already has within the FD sport books app
And nobody seems to care
Preach
If you make a 8-9 leg SGP on one game, you're not allowed to complain when you fall 1 leg short
Let's skip the discussion about correlation nerfing your odds deep into the -EV category on certain books (cough* FD)
But let's dive deeper into the fact that these SGPs are full of legs that are overtly -EV as well. You can compound your Expected Value by taking multiple EV legs, sure. But the vast majority are taking the -200, -300 types of builders cause they're "safer"
Yeah sure 7+ Keon receptions is amazing EV at +1300 Bally vs +680 FD but you never see that leg included. No, you see the 3+ rec instead at -186 Bally compared to -180 Fanduel instead
There is no such thing as a safe leg, -200 Bijan didn't hit, -420 Oregon didn't hit, -340 LSU didn't hit
Gathering 90% hit rate legs just to get a bigger payout is already a losing game to begin with. The price you're sacrificing is so often overlooked these days

No, dude, they're working for the Brewers
The Brewers play baseball the way it was intended. Contact plays. Computers off. Calculators in the drawer. Spreadsheets in the trash. All the analytics nerds are looking for jobs with Meta.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Milwaukee Brewers maintain a large Baseball Research & Development department with vice presidents, directors, senior analysts, data engineers and systems staff who develop tools and data for organizational decisions.

Mini rant here, but I think a lot of people are short sighted when it comes to betting. To me it feels like people will hyperfocus on the results of one bet and then get discouraged if it loses.
Then, I see a ton of people chasing something instead of learning a proper process. IE, they see someone hit a big parlay and then just chase whatever that person posts afterwards.
Betting is very much a long game where there is a lot of peaks and valleys. The most important part is having a good process and not getting wrapped up in each individual bet.
I've got almost 20k tracked bets on Pikkit now with a 4.35% ROI. Betting is very much a long ass grind.

The one downside of trading for McCarthy is the Giants run the risk of Skattebo realizing he isn’t the same person as Dart which might cause him to reject and eat the young qb

The perfect ending for Justin Verlander.
His daughter runs out to the mound and he walks off with his family.
Feels like a movie.
