@bbcnews The chants on the streets and response to Prince Reza Pahlavi's call to action are clear as day. He is the unifying figure that has earned the trust of the people, and proven to bring millions of Iranians across demographic lines together. Iranians know what they want and who they trust to lead the transition towards a free and prosperous Iran.

Environmental accountability cannot be selective. The Islamic Republic cannot claim to defend Iran’s environment while ignoring decades of damage caused by its own policies.
In this article, Iran Prosperity Project experts argue that Iran’s natural wealth must serve its people. They explain why environmental recovery, energy security and economic renewal must advance together, backed by accountable institutions, modern infrastructure and international partnerships.

The position of @FNFreiheit remains clear: the 2026 Freedom Prize belongs to the Iranian people and honors their courageous struggle for freedom.
Responding to criticism, @StSaebisch, Chair of the Foundation’s Executive Board, underscored that Prince Reza Pahlavi stands for freedom, democracy and the rule of law in Iran, as well as peace in the region and with Israel.

Important doc film on Iran protests in January that led to massacres (my pinned tweet says 43,000 but many of the 350,000 injured now confirmed dead). @BBCOne at 8pm. I’ve been critical of British journalists reporting from inside Iran but this one focusses on those who got out. Must watch TV tonight bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3qj…

Very true. The German media need to stop repeating Regime talking points
#Iran

Iran and America were once friends. They can be again.
Prior to 1979, they held joint naval exercises and kept the Persian Gulf open and safe.
Today the Islamic Republic holds Iran and the Strait of Hormuz hostage.
To free the Strait and the world economy, we must free Iran.

Since the January 8/9 massacre in Iran, the Iranian diaspora has mobilized en masse.
On February 14 alone, police reported more than 1.4 million people were on the streets around the world.
This is how they acted: dignified, respectful, and thoughtful.

SECRETARY RUBIO: I think what President Trump has exposed is that the number one driver of instability, war, conflict, and the number one obstacle to peace in the Middle East is the Islamic regime in Tehran.

Majid Nikandish, a true soldier of Iran, was arrested and executed by the Islamic Republic after refusing to open fire on protesters who took to the streets of Mashhad during Iran's January National Uprising.
A photo of his final testament, written hours before his execution, was recently released. In it, Majid speaks of his love for his family and asks them to celebrate his life at his funeral. He emphasizes that only one question remains on his mind: "Why?"
This is the question every awakened conscience must ask today to amplify the voices of these innocent political prisoners: Why does the Islamic Republic execute the children of Iran on baseless and fabricated charges?
We will never forget Iran's fallen heroes. Justice will prevail!

Peace and stability in the Middle East will only be possible when the Islamic Republic's reign of terror is ended.
Prior to 1979, Iran had strong ties with both Saudi Arabia and Israel.
That is the path Prince Reza Pahlavi represents. That is what the people of Iran seek.
Yesterday's horrific attack on the King Khalid airport in Riyadh is the latest proof that the regime in Tehran will never seek peace. Since 1979, whether directly or through its proxies, it has waged war on the Kingdom and sought instability.
I express my condolences to King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia at the lives lost in this terrorist attack. The Houthis and their campaign of chaos will end when Iran is free and the friendly relations between our two countries are restored.

“The resistance of the Iranian people” is about the massive majority of Iranians trying to free themselves from their radical Islamist overlords who have held them hostage for the last 47 years. In this effort, hundreds of thousands have paid for it with their lives, including the purging of thousands of “leftists” who helped them into power.
Through the western media the regime in Iran is now trying to reframe “the resistance of the Iranian people” as themselves in “resistance” to Donald Trump”. Yet another laughable trick in their shameful playbook attempting to appeal to American public opinion.
The fact that the regime have issued a 25 page document urging Americans to vote Democrat in the 2026 Midterm elections, with a view to lessening Trump’s powers in Congress, shows how desperate they are to cling to power and continue to kill and execute their citizens. And millions are falling for it.
If going from “Death to America!” to “Vote Democrat!” doesn’t tell you everything, nothing will.
Ask anyone reasonable and with a brain in the Middle East - peace will only be achieved in the region when this regime falls.
Calmly and simply, the record is set straight.

Responding to the statement by 133 Iranian political prisoners and activists, @StSaebisch , Chair of the Executive Board of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, wrote:
“We acknowledge your statement with respect. The 2026 Freedom Award of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom honors precisely those many women and men in Iran who risk their lives through their resistance against the mullah regime.”
The signatories recognize Prince Reza Pahlavi as their political representative and the voice of their demands to the international community. They call for concrete international action to halt executions, secure the release of political prisoners, and support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom.

Iran uses the death penalty to silence its people and has by far the world’s highest execution rate per capita, UN experts said Friday, calling for an immediate halt to executions.
They said Iranian law still allows the death penalty for consensual same-sex relations and for some religious offenses, including apostasy.
“Iran’s death penalty is used to silence dissent, with broadly defined national security offences recasting peaceful activity as a threat,” the experts said.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Washington’s expanded pressure campaign was increasingly cutting Iranian officials off from international travel and assets, mocking what he described as the overseas lifestyles of members of the Revolutionary Guards.
“They can’t go see their plastic surgeon in London, their girlfriend in Paris, and their money in Geneva,” Bessent told Newsmax on Thursday, arguing that restrictions on flights and financial access were leaving Iranian officials increasingly isolated.
“We did have a maximum pressure campaign. Now we have an absolute isolation campaign and it’s working,” he said.
Bessent said the campaign extended beyond financial sanctions to the US blockade of Iranian shipping and efforts to restrict air and land routes. He said the UAE and Oman were cooperating with Washington, while the US was working with Pakistan and Turkey “to cut off all the land routes.”
