We've raised the max request size for Messages and Token Counting on the Claude API from 32 MB to 128 MB.
Image-heavy requests like long computer-use sessions and big PDFs were previously hitting 32 MB with plenty of context window left. Now you get ~4x more room.

We’ve trained Claude to flag potential misuse in conversations, a technique we call self-assessment. Right after it responds, Claude gives a preliminary safety assessment of the conversation.
Since we began using self-assessment in June, it has surfaced misuse that our other safeguards weren’t designed to catch.
Because Claude has already read the conversation, self-assessment is very efficient. And unlike classifiers, which target a discrete set of harms, it draws on Claude’s own judgment, so it gets more accurate as our models improve.

Roughed out a logo sting with a soft piano note and a shimmer and sfx v3 kept the piano sounding like a piano
Going to sketch a few more for clients this week
🤝 Paid partnership
Big scenes rarely come down to one sound, so we built SFX v3 to handle more than ever.
Our latest model lets you create richer, more precise sound effects from a single text prompt, with improved music and vocals.
Now available inside @ElevenCreative and ElevenAPI.
Flux 3 Max is now live on arcads
It's tied for #1 in image to video quality on independent benchmarks and renders a 10 second 720p clip in roughly 12 seconds
Here it is side by side with Wan 3.0 Prime on the same Waterloo scene
For anyone making ad creatives, that speed means a lot more ideas tested in a day

First thing I’m pointing MiniCPM-OCR at is the lab notebooks full of hand scrawled formulas and I’d love to see it parse those on an iPad

🎬 MiniCPM-OCR in action — running locally on iPhone Duo and iPad.
Parse fast and accurately. Guard the results. All in your hands. 🙌
Handwritten notes, complex formulas, newspapers, poor-quality scans—real documents put OCR to the test.
📄 MiniCPM-OCR 1.0 — SOTA OCR performance and speed at 1B scale.
It achieves 93.68 on Real5-OmniDocBench and 54.7 on OCRBench v2, combining accurate document parsing with efficient inference.
🛡️ MiniCPM-OCR Jev — A 2B decision model that checks OCR accuracy.
It approaches Qwen3.5-397B-A17B on JevOCRBench and works with outputs from different OCR parsers.
Watch it compare parsed text, formulas, and tables with the original image and assign 0–1 correctness scores—helping you pick better results and identify what needs human review.
🔓 Open weights. Deploy your way.
Run with llama.cpp, vLLM, SGLang, or Ollama. Customize with open-source fine-tuning code.
Watch it in action. 👇

Long running agents are going to leave us with a lot to look through
Being able to ask what keeps going wrong across those runs sounds pretty handy

Today, @JudgmentLabs opens for general access.
We believe long running agent systems will generate more exhaust data than the world can currently process.
Hidden within agent traces are rich records of how to make these systems better: what users ask for, when agents stumble, and how agents interact with the external world.
Judgment is the most performant monitoring and improvement layer for long-horizon agents.
We’re excited to see what you build!

New in CodeRabbit Secure:
Deep Scan now follows a vulnerability across your linked repos, then replays the exploit in a throwaway sandbox to prove it's real before it flags anything.
Hendrik walks through this and everything else in the new update:
Video editing always felt like a skill you either have or you don't
Most people have the idea. They get stuck on cuts, captions, music and switching between tools
Cardboard is now a plugin inside ChatGPT and Claude → drop your clips, describe the video and it builds the edit
Then you keep chatting until it's right

Anthropic just took its first formal step toward going public
A few things that stood out to me reading the announcement:
> They're planning to list Class A shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market
> The ticker will be ANT
> Share count and price range haven't been decided yet
> They're a public benefit corporation, which makes this one feel a bit different
For now it's just exciting to watch a company I've followed this closely reach this stage

Led by USV, with Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Orange Collective and angels like Paul Graham and Siqi Chen
What stands out to me is the traction. Three ex-YC CTOs built it and in under a year engineers at 1 in every 8 Fortune 500 companies are using it
One editor where engineers run many coding agents in parallel, each working on its own task. As agents take on more of the work, this is the kind of tool engineers will live in
