The 2D:4D ratio still is a quite valid metric to figure out if you had greater fetal exposure to testosterone or estrogen during your 1st trimester.

Belcutassi first observed something was terribly wrong with himself, that his inner processes seemed to not proceed with “sane logic.”
What is exceptional is that this self-observation fostered an impulse to wish to change, rather than making excuses, rationalizing, comparing his irrationality to others who are worse and declaring it ‘not so bad.’ He didn’t let pride, egotism, vanity, etc., totally cried out his voice of reason, in other words.
What’s even more exceptional is he embarked upon and saw through a plan to correct himself and try to act according to this “sane logic”, which, part of him could initially perceive, darkly.
He “began making sincere observations” on himself, on the things he perceived, and on the impressions (automatic chains of ‘thought’ and mental associations) it produced in him. He used whatever level of objectivity he had to verify, compare, how his different ‘parts’ perceived these data.

This video on Gurdjieff’s “Self observation” by Richard Ruach is sublime.
I attached my personal mediocre scattered notes of the explanation.
However you must watch it yourself to get the full picture.
One of the greatest videos of all time.

“What heaven, what pleasure does your life offer which outweighs death’s delights? Doesn’t all that inspires us bear the color of the Night? It bears you mother-like, and you owe all your magnificence to her.”

The lily has a smooth stalk,
Will never hurt your hand;
But the rose upon her brier
Is lady of the land.
There's sweetness in an apple tree,
And profit in the corn;
But lady of all beauty
Is a rose upon a thorn.

If you’re a participant on the X platform you have no chance at achieving Theosis.
Porphyry documented that the Mithraic Leo grade initiation ritual involved honey applied to initiate’s hands and tongue, symbolizing purity of speech and action. Leo is also the grade associated with the Leontocephaline and its purificatory fire, and honey is used to soothe burn wounds. As such, the initiates—or rather, their lower nature, their ego, their nafs (in Sufi terms)—are wholly consumed by the fire and transformed; only their hands and mouth, speech and action, are revived or healed so that they may return to the world purified in mind, body, and speech as a “soldier of Mithras.” It may also be symbolic of the idea that the only thing that persists in the material world after one’s death/passage to the Other world are the speech and actions one leaves behind.
Accipe thuricremos, Pater, accipe, sancte, Leones;
Per quos thura damus, per quos consumimur ipsi.
“Receive the incense-burning Lions, Father; receive them, Holy One, through whom we offer incense, through whom we ourselves are consumed.”

a myth or fairy tale is a distilled map of the psyche. it's not arbitrary, it's not "just made up," it's not mad libs. if you're making a change to express something coherent about the map, great. but you can't do it well without understanding what it is & respecting the original

Bee Maidens
Every other year, however, the god of the lower sanctuary went into exile and the ritual reverted to the site of the ancient Corycian wolf cave. Meanwhile another deity stood in for him as a surrogate substitute for a ritual regression to the old rites of ecstatic possession and lycanthropy. He turned over the sanctuary to one of his brothers, either Hermes or Dionysus.
These revels are commemorated in the column of the dancing three bacchant Thyiades that once stood before the god’s Temple. The priestesses of the cave ritual were named as three bee-maidens, a designation rich in metaphoric symbolism, inasmuch bees not only display the matriarchal society of the hive, but also set the pattern for herbalists, gathering the nectar of flowers to produce honey with its implication of mellifluous shamanic speech, but also the toxins of their sting.
In this regard, they are analogous to serpents in antiquity, whose sting came from the flowers they ate, and they conversely transferred their toxins to the plants in their vicinity. Honey was the source of the earliest fermented intoxicant as mead, which is cognate with ‘mad,’ ‘mania,’ and the source of the common word for ‘drunk’ in Greek. The first Temple at Delphi was remembered as a beehive, such as is commemorated in the fifth-century BCE thólos Temple in the Pronaos sanctuary, below the Apollonian Temple complex.

It's at least a little insane that in mystery cults you could do a ritual and at the "moment of revelation" behold some objects/σύμβολα, get oneshotted by them and promptly exit present reality
These were a technology, systematized, replicable
You can just close the screen lmao

Mother Mary is a symbol of divine parthenogenesis, the production of humanity solely from the foid's own anatomical networks. Of course people worship her, she's an atavistic callback to hetaerism, the roaming daughter realms prior to steppe othanists inverting everything
