What percentage of your pipeline would survive an honest review? Remove the deals with no confirmed business problem. Remove the opportunities without access to a decision-maker. Remove the prospects who have no reason to act this quarter. Is your pipeline still healthy?

AI can generate a working feature in minutes. But who checks the edge cases? Who reviews the permissions? Who maintains it six months later? Shipping code got cheaper. Being responsible for that code didn't.

AI builders, founders, engineers, and indie hackers 👋 I’m always excited to connect with people who are building, experimenting, and turning ideas into real products. Drop a hi and tell me what you’re building. 🤝🚀 Let’s connect and grow together.

Be honest: Are AI tools making developers smarter or just making them feel smarter? 👀

Your SaaS has 500 paying customers. But one database failure could take the entire product offline. You don't need enterprise-scale infrastructure on day one. You do need to know what happens when something breaks. How long could your product stay down before customers leave?

Building with AI is getting easier. Building something genuinely good isn't. A few things worth remembering: → Don't just build faster. Use AI to make the product better than it could've been before. → Great products still matter. AI won't save something people don't want. → The best builders will combine technical skills with product thinking and user experience. → Spend more time deciding what to build, not less. Faster execution makes bad decisions expensive too. → Don't treat production like a testing ground. Shipping fast means nothing if users pay for your mistakes. AI lowers the cost of building. It doesn't lower the standard for great products.

How to be successful: - Use neuroplasticity - Believe everything is working in your favour - Have a daily sense of urgency, but a 10 year vision - Surround yourself with high performers - Investment money in yourself, not day trading - See failure as wisdom

AI fixed the bug. The tests passed. The feature shipped. Two weeks later, another part of the application broke because the fix changed an assumption nobody had documented. AI can accelerate implementation. It can't automatically give your codebase the context it never had.

People talk about AI replacing jobs. I see something quieter happening first: people who use AI well are getting more done in less time, and everyone else is wondering how. That gap is the real story right now.

What if I could unlock any premium feature just by changing a few lines of JavaScript? If frontend code runs in my browser, what actually stops me? Nothing stops me from changing the client-side code. That’s why frontend checks aren’t security. The backend must verify every permission. Never trust the client. 🔐

Technical debt rarely looks dangerous when you take it on. One shortcut. One hardcoded value. One skipped test. Then a small feature takes three days because nobody wants to touch the code. What shortcut is your team still paying for?

Can I ask a STUPID tech question? Are we building genuinely useful things with AI, or are we just adding AI to products because nobody wants to look outdated?

When was the last time you raised prices because your product became more valuable, not because your costs went up? Many SaaS companies review pricing as a financial decision. But pricing also communicates positioning, customer fit, and perceived value. Are you charging for the product you built... or the outcome your customers actually receive?

If AI cuts your team's prospecting time by 80%, what happens to the other 20%? Do they spend it understanding buyers better? Or send five times as many mediocre messages? Efficiency only creates an advantage when the saved time produces something more valuable.

Your champion loves your product. The CFO kills the deal. Was the problem really price? Or did your champion fail to build a business case strong enough to survive the finance review? B2B sales doesn't end when one person says yes. Sometimes, that's when the real sale begins.

Should a SaaS company fire its largest customer if that customer is destroying its margins? Revenue drops immediately. But the team gets capacity back. Support costs fall. Product priorities become clearer. At what point does a big customer become a bad business decision?

The goal isn't to spend more on marketing. The goal is to make every marketing decision count. More budget is easy. Knowing where to invest it is the real skill.
