CBS = Cat Bringing Smiles
One of the most famous addresses in the world, 10 Downing Street in London, is home not just to prime ministers, but also to a 19-year-old tabby cat named Larry. @HollyMAWilliams looks at how the official pet of the British leader’s residence and Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office has become a favorite to the press — and a political fixture whose nine lives have so far outlasted five prime ministers.

Replying to @PatCallaghan6
Gibson is A level at lowest but the list has many questions throughout. Sandy Koufax and Nolan Ryan aren’t even there. Both should be A also but more worthy of G status than Clemens (IMO).

Pedro Martínez is down in B in a Red Sox cap, two tiers under an S group of Walter Johnson, Cy Young, Grover Cleveland Alexander and Roger Clemens in an Astros cap. Justin Verlander and Clayton Kershaw are in C. Is Pedro really a B?

Bob Gibson & Pedro Martinez have to be at least “A” level.

My favorite Band LP, which is saying a lot
Released OTD 1975, 'Northern Lights, Southern Cross' by The Band. I've loved this record since I bought it 35 years ago; 'Forbidden Fruit', 'Ophelia', 'Arcadian Driftwood' & the heartbreaking country soul of 'It Makes no Difference' are as 'peak Band' as the early stuff for me.

Super Sky Point to Jerry Koosman, who won 17 games with a 2.28 ERA for the 1969 Miracle Mets. Kooz went on to win 222 games over 19 years in the big leagues. He was a better pitcher than some guys in the HOF and if you want his rookie card? You’ll be digging deep in your wallet. #RIP

This 45-rpm record of Vaughn Meader pretending to be JFK on Christmas 1963 was said to be ready to ship on Nov. 25, 1963, which proved to be the day of JFK's funeral. Amid national mourning, it was suppressed. (h/t @robtned) Link to this long-unheard recording: youtube.com/watch?v=ZyGdozFj…
