Phoenix is welcoming monarch butterflies as they make their 3,000 mile journey south for the winter. This week, we planted pollinator-friendly plants outside City Hall to give them a place to stop along their journey.   Since joining the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge in 2021, Phoenix has planted more than 7 acres of pollinator habitat on city property. Thank you to the incredible volunteers and staff who continue to make a difference for the monarchs and our environment!
