I had no idea a new season Lupin was out. It’s usually entertaining. Wonder if they have increased the wig budget for his disguises.

I never thought of Netflix as "prestige", but it's definitely worse now
Netflix lost its prestige value to HBO Max and Apple TV

IKEA is about to go "thanks for the idea, we'll take it from here"
IKEA manuals, but they come to life. I built the real BILLY instructions in 3D, so you can watch every step happen exactly as drawn. try it: sael.net/flatpack

You have to see this:
Hackers stole 10GB of data from a casino… through a FISH TANK. Not a computer. Not a phone. A FISH TANK. The funny part is you probably have something in your home with the same weakness.

RT!!!!! This is SO important and only we can demand this change fr.
Call to Action 🚨: African & Caribbean languages are the only languages left off GCSE specs. While all other racial groups languages are included, Black children are uniquely barred from using their linguistic resources for an academic qualification. . Email Template Below ⬇️

Trying to find a reliable company to ship Amazon purchases to Jamaica. Rocketship only deliver to Kingston/Portmore; keep seeing mixed reviews of others! 🫤

The first Black woman to produce programmes for the BBC was a Jamaican poet who arrived in London in 1932 and could not find anyone who would rent her a room. She ended up running the radio programme that launched Caribbean literature. Then she had a breakdown and was put on a ship home. Una Marson. She was already an editor and playwright in Jamaica when she came to Britain. She documented the experience of looking for lodgings in a city where the signs said no coloureds, and wrote a poem about it called "Nigger" that is still hard to read. She worked for the League of Coloured Peoples, then for Haile Selassie when he was in exile in London after the Italian invasion of Ethiopia, and sat behind him at the League of Nations. In 1941 the BBC took her on. By 1942 she was producing "Calling the West Indies," which began as a programme reading servicemen's messages home and which she turned into "Caribbean Voices" — the programme that broadcast and paid a generation of Caribbean writers including Derek Walcott, V.S. Naipaul, Samuel Selvon and George Lamming. It is not an exaggeration to say modern Caribbean literature was partly built in that studio. She was the only Black woman in the building, in wartime, producing for an organisation that was not always sure it wanted her there, and the strain was enormous. She had a breakdown in 1945 and returned to Jamaica. She kept working — journalism, publishing, social work — and died in 1965 at fifty-nine, largely forgotten in Britain until scholars rediscovered her in the 1990s. She gave the Caribbean its literary voice from inside Broadcasting House and went home on a ship with a nervous collapse.

Alienating part of your audience at the peak of your career to back a has been, one propped up by people pushing a degrading caricature of Black men that only a handful of racists found funny, is certainly a choice.

Clubhouse was a flash in the pan for me. I wonder if they regret not selling when Twitter wanted to buy it for $4Billion 😬
Former Clubhouse users; are you still using it, or did you move on?

Saw an ad for a Black British founder led hair care brand. I thought the person in the ad was the founder, but as they were speaking suddenly the accent morphed into an American twang and I realised it was AI 🤦🏾‍♂️
