With everything going on in America and across the world I feel compelled to share this...."It's Ok! " Everyone of us is going to be ok! youtube.com/watch?v=CZJvBfoH…
I asked a close family member, "I need you to address/challenge your beliefs because I will always choose my children". They're trying.🙏
I’ve been in relationships where they tried to condition the princess out of me, to keep me humble and insecure. The truth is, I was humbled long before adulthood ever arrived. No one needs to shake that out of me — I already knew what it felt like to shrink myself and be agreeable. It truly took me standing up for my oldest child that really started my journey of self love. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't be a princess, a queen, a lawyer, a bartender, an artist, a carpenter, a housebuilder, a human rights activist...... : be them all at once if your heart desires.
Compartmentalization and faith have truly been my coping mechanisms throughout my life, and I’ve leaned on both through every good, bad, and heartbreaking thing that’s happened. There were days when I don’t know how, but they carried me through the moments I didn’t have language for, the seasons where I had to keep moving, and the years where survival meant separating what hurt from what needed to get done — and from what I genuinely wanted to create.
My kids were raised on the arts — classes, theatre, musicals & yes, I even bought Juno Awards tickets one year. Full cultural immersion.
So when my youngest bailed on the last musical with: “I’m old enough to say no & I hope that you'll respect that,” I had to swallow the fact that my own parenting philosophy was being used on me.
I said, "please stay open to new things.” And this week the kid went to the movies alone… look at that, teaching me. 🙏

100% in agreement with this: the media DOES NOT cover trump's cognitive decline as much as they harassed Joe Biden.
Joe didn't start any wars.
He didn't fall asleep in meetings.
He didn't hold the Kennedy Center hostage.
trump is dangerously UNFIT.
My youngest had a follow‑up specialist appt, and you sign in at a kiosk. The same two front‑desk staff were handling everyone. Thirty mins past the appt time, I turned to my now‑grown kid and said, “Are you sure you signed in? We only wait this long for walk‑ins.”
I scooted up to the desk & they told me we’d been logged as a walk‑in — and marked as a no‑show for the actual appt. I had to bite my tongue from saying, “You manage two lists… you don’t cross‑reference them?”
Two hrs later, we finally got called in — and I guess it was written all over my face. Honestly, I should’ve listened when my kid said, “Mom, I can handle my appts.” Could’ve saved myself two hrs to craft Twitter posts 😉
With so many people standing up against the horrific actions happening across our world, I’ve been thinking about my own voice and what I stand up for. There were people I should have stood up for. I've confused loyalty — to a relationship, to a group, to years of memories and compassion — with the belief that we all make mistakes, and that staying neutral was somehow keeping the peace. In reality, it only protected the wrong people.
It’s never too late to see clearly and choose better.
Dating after divorce — putting yourself out there again, dodging red flags, and realizing you’ve been ghosted before you even finished your coffee. Honestly, staying hopeful that the next one might be the diamond in the group — and knowing my stories might help someone else — was the only thing keeping me from deleting the apps and becoming a nun.

Robert Kraft pressuring Ed Sheeran to remove Macklemore from the tour is the perfect time to remind you that Robert Kraft is in the Epstein Files
Your choices matter. I debated going on a date with a guy flashing red flags… or spending my Saturday updating my résumé for a job that could improve my life. Looking back, it was a no‑brainer. Thank God I chose myself & my kids — you will never regret investing in yourself.

Thank you @macklemore for using your platform and continuing to speak out against the genocide.

EXCLUSIVE: Macklemore Dropped From Ed Sheeran Tour After Onstage 'Free Palestine' Statements
Story: rollingstone.com/music/music…
I spoke with a young woman at an event today who is in medical school. She is taking her time, choosing a partner who treats “figuring things out” through conversation rather than battle. It’s refreshing to see her/my kids’ generation thinking about the impact of their choices.
How many times does someone have to lie to you before your done? Or does your loyalty trump the risk to your own well being? Insert any relationship on your mind.

Children in Sudan are starving too 😭don't turn a blind eye. We must not be biased in our concern and compassion.

Again I am BEGGING you all to show Sudan some attention too. They're suffering not just a genocide but what is being classified as the worst humanitarian crisis worldwide. Women have killed themselves to prevent being sexually abused. Displacement, famine, and massacres. Speak.

🚨 BREAKING:
Francesca Albanese told the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva:
"They put me on a metal table, pressed my chest and head against it, restrained my hands to the end of the bed, and pulled my legs forcefully."
"I felt a rod penetrate my anus and a man rape me. I started screaming, so they beat me on my back and head."
"While blindfolded, I felt a man rape me and ejaculate inside my anus. I kept screaming and being beaten, and I heard a camera, so I believe they were filming me."
"I can't describe what I felt. I wished I was dead. Every moment."
— UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese reads Palestinian survivors' accounts of rape, torture and killing in Israeli detention centers.
More than 18,500 people have been detained since Oct. 7. At least 100, including a child, have died in detention. Around 4,000 have also been forcibly disappeared.
"What was lost in Palestine will be lost to all of us."
