Everything nowadays is becoming more and more about profit than creativity or creating art.
Most of the media doesn't even focus on creating something new or unique, most of the studios are just chasing the profit by least effort as possible, it's so sad when everything is created on usual formula and the safe choices . I just hope future is better and packed with something refreshing because there aren't many anime like FMAB , Vinland Saga , AOT etc....i still go back to them and realise how unique each of them are , at the time we didn't even know that those types of anime will actually be rare , I guess we can hope for better upcoming series 馃ぇ馃
In modern Anime , the dynamic between Marin and Gojo is so good , they are the best couple!! 馃挄
The relationship between Marin and Gojo in My Dress Up Darling is defined by a deeply complementary dynamic built on mutual respect, creative collaboration, and emotional growth. But starkly contrasting in personality. Marin being outgoing, bubbly gyaru with amazing cosplay skills and Gojo an introverted, selfconscious artist dedicated to crafting Hina dolls ,their shared passion for intricate craftsmanship forms an instant bond. Gojo鈥檚 beautiful artistry gives physical life to Marin鈥檚 cosplay dreams, while Marin鈥檚 enthusiasm and absolute acceptance validates Gojo鈥檚 hidden talents, liberating him from his fear of social rejection. As they spend countless hours together designing costumes, their connection evolves from a functional partnership into a genuine emotional intimacy where each person subtly inspires the other to embrace their true self without judgment. There aren't many examples but few definitely stand out like Yui and Masugu from I have a crush at work , what do you think?
I was wondering what made me fall in love with anime again......
When I was smol I used to watch Dragon ball , Doraemon, and many anime movies on tv regularly but there was a phase of 5-6 years in school where I didn't touch a single episode of anime then after I finished school i went to study out of my hometown and anime found me immediately, it literally became only thing I did apart from studying. It was like a desert with my regular food , I can't fully explain how good it felt at that time but it was such a peak time for me . It was amazing, I only used to study , eat ,watch anime and sleep 馃槅
Side Characters who stole the show
Gojo , Vegeta , Itachi , Levi...... All of them had so much impact on the audience , sometimes even more than the MCs . It's funny because sometimes even the creators don't intend this or not expect the impact these characters have on everyone.
One non anime example is John Walker from Falcon and winter soldier, he wasn't even supposed to be the fan favourite but he ended up being one accidentally
Old anime and also old cartoons have a very distinct feel than anything modern , it just feels like most of the older media has more soul and love poured in it .
Also people back then used to take many risks , nowadays most just pick the safer options because nobody thinks it's worth the risk but that comes with lack of originality .
The safe route is so boring for me nowadays 馃ぇ
Why Yuji is one of the best MC in modern anime?
Yuji Itadori stands out as the ultimate protagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen because he redefines the classic shonen archetype through profound empathy and relentless resilience. Unlike heroes driven by grand ambitions of power or status, Yuji begins his journey with a simple, deeply human philosophy: to ensure people get a proper death. This unselfish motivation transforms him from an ordinary athletic teenager into a pillar of emotional strength in a brutally nihilistic world.
What makes Yuji truly compelling is his quiet endurance in the face of unimaginable trauma. While many characters break under the weight of Sukuna's cruelty and the loss of mentors and comrades, Yuji absorbs his suffering without losing his compassion. He views himself not as a chosen savior, but as a cog in a machine, yet he fights with every ounce of his being. His descent into despair is met not with edginess, but with a hardening resolve to carry the burdens of everyone he couldn't save.
Furthermore, Yuji鈥檚 combat evolution mirrors his thematic growth. He is not born with a legendary cursed technique or inherited cheat codes; instead, his progression from raw physical prowess to mastering cursed energy, Black Flashes, and domain techniques is earned through sheer grit and adaptability. He evolves into a powerhouse precisely because he refuses to give up.
Ultimately, Yuji resonates so deeply because his humanity is his greatest weapon. In a series defined by monsters and cynical sorcerers, Yuji remains fiercely, beautifully human. His journey from a boy swallowing a cursed finger to save his friends into a hardened yet compassionate jujutsu sorcerer makes him the beating heart of the entire story. We need more unique MC like Yuji who stands out !
