It's great isn't it? As little as 4 years controller technology and hardware has exploded. 5-6 years ago hardly any roller tuning softwares, max was 1k hz polling and little to know customization. Now rollers are EXPLODING with tech and finally catching up to mouse and keyboard tech.
you know.. sometimes people need to get off the internet. The internet isn't real life. Its something that can heighten anxiety, anger, fear and jealously. If you experience any of these while online.. you probably need to log off for the day.

you can't... oml.. OK.. do console peeps EVER remember an EAC logo when loading up Apex? No? Cause it was never on console. Cheating on console is handled by the company of the platform you play on... Always has been, the only thing game devs can do is manual bans and let the platform companies handle the security.

The "Cronus Zen" Epidemic
On console, the absolute biggest complaint is the widespread use of Cronus Zen and XIM devices. Because these devices are cheap and sold at major retailers, a massive number of console players use them to get zero weapon recoil.
On PC, using an anti-recoil script can get your account banned by Easy Anti-Cheat ( Javelin now).
On console, these devices mimic a normal controller, making them incredibly difficult for the game to detect. Because so many people use them, console players constantly post clips exposing them.
I left console cause the cheating was so bad... Now y'all want to bring it to PC
📝TESTING:
Starting tomorrow, October 7th at approximately 10am PT, we will be conducting a matchmaking test by enabling cross-play as the default option for all players, on all consoles in the US-West servers. The intention of this test is to shorten queue times and tighten matchmaking skill bands. This test will run until the season ends on November 3rd. Console players can opt out of the test by turning off cross-play in your settings menu.
✅FIXED:
- Fixed an issue with missing floor geo on Broken Moon in Terraformer; players are no longer able to clip into the ground.
- Fixed an issue with Gibraltar skydive emote audio persisting after landing.
To be clear. I will not charge nor will I ever charge for settings that are in a game. I think this is a very scummy practice and the only time I'd accept money from my followers is if they donated it through my streams but only if they want to... My main money I get from content is through monetizing my videos that cost nothing to my followers and makes the platforms I'm on pay me. Times are tight, and I'd never ask my every day gamer for a penny when it can be better spent somewhere else in a hobby we all love and sometimes need to make the day a little bit better.

Apex streamer @ShivFPS has been banned on Twitch for what he thinks is a rage clip where he finally kills Tufi, an Apex Legends hacker who has been ruining the scene and running rampant. If context matters, did he still take it too far?
Does Javelin need improvement? Yes ofc, anti cheats in general need massive improvements to keep up with cheating. The difference here is how the EA team and Respawn will be able to fix it. And how quickly they respond. They were at the mercy of Epic to fix issues and mainly dealt with manual bans. With Javelin, THEY have to fix it themselves. That's the key difference
