Crazy affff. I'm a homeowner and that would benefit me, but i still voted against it because what its gonna do to renters when those costs pass off cuz renters are the majority and I'm not an evil, selfish bitch.

Another very interesting thing that happened at my poll station today... a man didn't early vote and got admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery Saturday night. So the hospital filled out an affidavit form and his wife brought it to us to get a mail in ballot for him.

We couldn't accept it cuz only the actual supervisor of elections office could issue that type of ballot, but she was given the address and went to make it happen for him. I really respect how white people NEVER think their votes don't matter. I wish we'd catch up.

I was just telling my friend the ONLY conservative view I think i have is that children shouldn't be allowed to get gender affirming surgeries. And not because I don't think kids can identify as another gender. Because in the 10+ years I've done medical social work,

All my trans clients have had such extreme medical complications from the surgeries. They're ALWAYS in the hospital with an infection or complication of some kind. I don't think kids brains are fully developed enough to handle the mental trauma of a possible complication.

After 18, you're "legally" an adult (even tho your brain may not still be fully developed), but you're your own decision maker at that point. After 18, I think it's your right but you should be given some education on the dangers so you can make an informed decision.
