No one should be immune from the consequences of their actions. Most especially not judges who should be setting the example of appropriate behavior.

If a bartender and waiter is held responsible for serving and subsequent actions of a known intoxicated patron, then why should a judge not be held to the same standard?

Nothing will ever happened unless mandatory sentencing type laws are passed and "no cash bail" laws are eliminated.

Both are responsible. The felon for the murder and the judge as an accessory to the murder. Same thing happens if someone drives the get-away car at a murder.

Yes, absolutely they need to get rid of judicial immunity. You let a killer go and they kill again or rape again whatever the crime was it is blood on the judge鈥檚 hands and they need to be held accountable.

Track all their records and charge them with malfeasance, sentence them and force them to make restitution to the victims and victim's families.

Are they not there to see Justice is served? Why are they there? Exercising their right to let criminals walk? Follow the $$$money$$$. Betcha these 'judges' are paid to help destroy this country. Seems like there's a pattern here, so who's behind the money?

Fun to say but impossible in practice. Best way to handle will be to expand the news to citizens. NGO should be formed like @datarepublican to make a weekly report and quarterly reports about the crime and lives lost from weak sentencing. This can be supplemented by law review articles and scholarly studies. That will allow non corrupt writers and politicians to shine the light. That could lead to better nominees, better sentencing etc.
