I don't mind that we don't talk; I'd rather be in your thoughts. I'd rather be at the top of your list of "what ifs" than on your list of "and what's not."🤍

Never regret helping someone who later betrayed you. Your kindness will return as blessings greater than their lies & manipulation. 🎯
It's both.
Big Sean says he sold 185 million records on Kanye West's label, and $6 million of his money went to that label instead of him.
In 2021, Kanye said signing him was "the worst thing I've ever done."
In the video below, Big Sean explains how he chased that money for years.
Kanye signed him to GOOD Music in 2007. Sean was a kid from Detroit, signing with his favorite artist.
He says the deal paid Kanye more from his music than it paid him. "I'm not complaining about that. It's just a fact."
Then he audited Def Jam. "Every time I audit Def Jam, there's money sitting there."
The numbers didn't add up. "Where's my $6 million?"
Def Jam said the money had been paid a long time ago. To GOOD Music. "Oh, you got to hit up Ye for that."
Nobody gave him a straight answer. After Kanye's "worst thing" line, Sean answered on Twitter: not 3 million, "more like 6."
The case for Kanye: he gave an unknown rapper a deal and a career. Sean says it himself. Signing with GOOD Music was "the best thing that could have happened to me."
In the end, Sean took less than he was owed, just to stay out of court.
"If I've ever called you family, I really mean that. If you do something like that to me, it's hard for me to ever look at you the same."
Then this September, Kanye brought him out on stage at Soldier Field in Chicago.
One man sold 185 million records. The other man's label got his $6 million.
So did Kanye make Big Sean, or did Big Sean make Kanye money?
