As seen below, in NH, no one document satisfies all requirements needed to vote; and a court ruling reinstates a sworn affidavit option to satisfy the citizenship requirement. Real ID does NOT prove citizenship.
NH allows eligible voters to register at the polls on Election Day! 📄 Make sure you gather the documents you need to prove your Age, Citizenship, Identity, and Domicile (where you live). You can bring documents in paper or electronic form, including photos! 📷 #NewHampshire

We could all use a civics refresher. I'm no exception. So important given the myriad of new laws restricting access to the ballot box. With better education comes better understanding. That's a big plus in a divided America. #OpenDemocracyNH
Join Open Democracy and @thecivicscenter on Wednesday, November 11, from 1-5 PM in Concord for Youth in the Booth, a FREE, hands-on civics training for NH students, educators, and community volunteers! 📣 RSVP today: opendemocracynh.org/youthint… #NH #NHPolitics #NewHampshire

4 words said by @marceelias : "Democracy is very fragile." Its sustenance is free and fair elections, elections controlled by the states where the founders placed sole authority, not federalized or otherwise manipulated by the current administration's desperation. #nhpolitics
The good news is that we are winning in court. The bad news is that we have to win every case. Trump only needs to subvert one election to break democracy.

Best wishes from your friends in NH. You've entertained us for many decades with your music; we're equally grateful for your many years of commitment to protecting America's Democracy. Long live Truth in Music! @JonBowzerBauman #nhpolitics
I’ve been to almost 40 campaigns on the ground. On the IL for a few days with brutal arthritis at age 79, but will go back out soon. Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Brewers playing baseball brilliantly is keeping me sane. I’m a Dodger fan, but this team is really something.

Life is a windy road. Each signpost we pass reminds us of someone in our lives we held dear who now appears in our rear view mirror. Thx for the songful memories @NancySinatra
Today is the anniversary of Jack Haley, Jr.’s birth. Jack, as I’m sure you know, directed my television special, Movin’ with Nancy. He was a wonderful person and a very dear friend, and I miss him so much. I’m sending lots of love out into the universe today, and I hope it finds its way to him. Happy, HAPPY heavenly birthday, old friend. I love you. ❤️🙏

SCOTUS just ruled that NH has successfully blocked use of student IDs to prove identity for voting Nov. 3. No justification for this restriction. Needed: driver's license, govt-issued photo ID, passport/passport card, naturalization papers. #NHPolitics @OpenDemocracyNH

Remember when Trump asked if it was okay to shoot protesters in the legs? That was a warning. Raiding the home of a sitting congressperson 3 weeks before an election is another warning: Nothing and no one is out of the reach of Trump's ongoing retribution campaign. #NHPolitics
NEW: Federal agents raided Rep. Ilhan Omar's home as part of an investigation that reportedly concerns her immigration history. The move, which comes weeks before she faces reelection, marks a departure from longstanding DOJ guidance meant to keep federal law enforcement from influencing elections. demdock.com/4hFfuaS

Good news! UNH will provide students with bus transportation to the polls on election day, November 3. Hooray! As it should be. A college education also includes civics instruction and participation - made easier thanks to planned transportation to the polls. #NHPolitics
NH students: Voting Nov. 3? 🗳️ Per 10/2 ruling: Student IDs can prove identity at registration. To get a ballot, supervisors may consider them “other reasonable proof.” Bring a government-issued photo ID if you can—but don’t let a student ID keep you home! #NHPolitics

"Civility: formal politeness, courtesy, and respectful conduct in behavior or speech that allows people to live and work together cooperatively." The word "assassination" does not appear as an exception in this AI definition.
Osborne's bestie calls, for assassinations. Poll shows Pappas, Shaheen, Goodlander leading. Cinde climbs to within margin of error as Ayotte craters. Towns face major prop tax hikes due to GOP legislature & Ayotte bad budgeting, incompetence. #votethemallout

Recall Granny D's walk across America to protest the corrosive effect of money in politics. Love and Democracy chronicles her subsequent encounters east of the Mississippi via her van named Rosie (it's being restored) to encourage women to vote. #NHPolitics @OpenDemocracyNH

Needed hi-test today for my '67 Chev. pickup: $5.48/gallon and not enough octane. Engines made that way then. Will limit its use for a couple of years. Longer? #NHPolitics
I’m hearing the same thing everywhere I go: costs are out of control in the Ayotte-Trump economy. My top priority is putting more money back in the pockets of working families and small businesses. #NHPolitics

Gassed up at Lee traffic circle Irving 9.18. Cost $50.50 to fill Corolla tank at 11.22 gallons. Diesel was $6.69. Cheapest Sunoco across the street was $4.48/gallon. Escalating fuel prices only one of many challenges ahead. November 3 draws near. Prepare now. #NHPolitics

Dusty Springfield. Such a powerful song only she could sing best. My favorite 60s female voice. She's been gone for so long now. Thanks @Ducnghia16

At age 89, Granny D walked 3200 miles across the US to reveal big money/corporate political influence. Yet another book has been written about this American hero, Love and Democracy, subject of OD's Sept. 15 (7:00) book club. Join the conversation. #NHPolitics @OpenDemocracyNH

How many can smile in the face of imminent death? I worked with one: Rep. Rennie Cushing, whose belt buckle read: Legislating While Dying. Takes special people to work in service to others under that circumstance. Yes. Good news, indeed. #NHPolitics

New lows offered up every day. This woman is clearly not the worst of the worst. More like her are manhandled or disappeared for the sake of meeting government quotas. Some die directly or indirectly at the hands of these thugs. Elections have consequences. #NHPolitics
This is sick, disgusting and disgraceful. 🤬 WTF happened to America? We have lost our humanity. 😢

In 2011, NH's minimum wage was indexed to the federal minimum of $7.25/hour which has remained unchanged for 17 years. A person would have to work more than 3 jobs at $7.25 to approach a "living" wage. So a federal increase will automatically help Granite Staters. #NHPolitics
A new survey from the Federal Reserve found that 49% of adults under 30 live with their parents. Young people will never have the opportunity to own a home or start a family unless we do something about it. #NHPolitics #NH01
