Hypothetical question: If a President of the USA is a secret Russian asset, what would he do to help Russia? ChatGPT: Interesting thought experimentโ€”and a useful way to think about incentives and power. If someone in that position were secretly acting in another countryโ€™s interest, the key wouldnโ€™t be dramatic, obvious betrayals. It would be subtle, deniable, and cumulative. First, theyโ€™d likely undermine alliances quietly. The United Statesโ€™ biggest strategic advantage is its networkโ€”especially NATO. So instead of openly pulling out, they might question its value, delay commitments, create distrust among members, or signal unreliability. Even small cracks weaken collective defense. Second, they could shift foreign policy in ways that benefit Russia without looking extreme. That might mean softening sanctions, slowing military aid to countries Russia opposes (like Ukraine), or reframing conflicts to reduce U.S. involvement. None of that needs to look like โ€œhelping Russiaโ€โ€”just โ€œputting America first.โ€ Third, damage internal cohesion. A divided country is less effective abroad. Amplifying polarization, discrediting institutions (courts, elections, intelligence agencies), or constantly creating internal crises reduces the ability of the U.S. to act strategically. Thatโ€™s something adversaries historically benefit from. Fourth, reshape leadership and bureaucracy. Appointing people who are inexperienced, loyal over competent, or sympathetic to certain narratives can gradually shift how decisions are made. Over time, that changes policy outcomes without needing explicit orders. Fifth, control the narrative. Public opinion matters in democracies. Repeating talking points that align with Russian interestsโ€”questioning support for allies, portraying adversaries of Russia as corrupt or unworthyโ€”can steer public sentiment in a favorable direction. Finally, theyโ€™d avoid anything blatantly illegal or provable. The whole strategy would depend on plausible deniability. If itโ€™s obvious, it fails. The big picture: influence at that level isnโ€™t about one shocking actโ€”itโ€™s about slowly tilting the system so that, over time, outcomes consistently benefit the other side.

A horrific Russian strike on the railway station in Dnipro. The Russians launched a drone attack on a platform where an ordinary commuter train and a scheduled passenger train were standing. Unfortunately, 13 people have been confirmed killed as of now. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Ten more people were injured. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene. Just how many terrorist strikes has Russia carried out against our people since sanctions were lifted on certain Russian oligarchs and the Russian energy sector, rather than de-escalating? This is precisely why Ukraine has always said that just and decisive action by America and Europe is needed in response to Russian escalation โ€“ sanctions against Moscow and its war machine must not be eased for as long as this Russian war continues. It is time for new, stronger sanctions steps by the EU, the United States, and the G7. I thank everyone who is ready to help in this way.

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

โ€œWe now live in a world where the President of the United States is not only willing but eager to negotiate with a war criminal Vladimir Putin. He doesnโ€™t do this out of strategic necessity, but because he possesses the mind of a child who is easily manipulated, easily flattered, and dangerously blind to the consequences of his own vanity. Putin understands this all too well. The Russians and the FSB could fill book on how to twist and bend Trump and America to their will, feeding his insatiable narcissism with little more than a few well placed words.โ€ โ€œThis is the grim reality we face, a President who would sacrifice Europe, not for peace, not for diplomacy, but for the illusion of his own strength. He does not seek justice, but the appearance of it, playing the role of a dealmaker while in truth pandering and submitting to a war criminal who has slaughtered thousands, orchestrated atrocities, and drawn the unmitigated condemnation of the international community.โ€ โ€œIn less than a decade, Donald Trump has pushed America further from its allies than at any point in the past 80 years. He has trampled on the very principles that once defined the nation, dismantling alliances, sowing distrust, and degrading the global standing of the United States with reckless abandon.โ€ โ€œNow, he is sending a message to every dictator, every autocrat, and every warmonger across the world that sovereignty is negotiable, that invasions can be legitimised, that war crimes can be excused if you simply know how to stroke the ego of this narcissist.โ€ โ€œThis is not strength. This is not strategy. This is idiocy on a biblical scale.โ€ @Bricktop_NAFO - February 2025

โ€œOur grandparents created the common market, our parents the common currency. It is up to our generation to create the United States of Europe.โ€ Gabriel Attal is making the case for a united Europe. A common market was not enough. A common currency was not enough. The next step is a common destiny. Europe has the scale. It has the talent. It has the civilization. Now it needs the political will. This is the ambition Europe needs. Europe cannot afford to think small.

Russian propagandist Solovyev says the war will not be stopped because "the budget has been finalized and the money has been allocated." Indeed, Russia has included the war in its three-year budget at record levels; the war has become the main driver of its domestic economy. Russia is planning for the war to last for many years. However, a planned military budget is not an absolute guarantee that the war will continue. Such a war can be stopped by destroying the resources and logistics that fuel this budget. A quick end to the war is also possible if the ruling regime in Russia is dismantled - first and foremost, Putinโ€™s regime - specifically, through Putinโ€™s death, whatever the cause.

Trump appeared before a large audience and began loudly insulting Norwayโ€”labeling the country a "toilet" and a "shitty dump"โ€”because Norway had refused to award him the Nobel Prize. Unless the Americans take the microphone away from him, by the end of his term, Trump will have managed to fall out with every single country on earthโ€”with the exception of Vanuatu; and that only because he cannot pronounce the name. t.me/MirovichMedia/15677

I'm an American, a U.S. Army veteran, and I live in Europe. And I'll tell you something that might upset a few people back home. I want my fellow Americans to enjoy the same rights, freedoms, and quality of life that millions of Europeans already enjoy. I want Americans to have access to affordable healthcare without worrying about going bankrupt because they got sick. I want American students to pursue higher education without burying themselves in decades of debt. I want Americans to enjoy stronger digital privacy laws, meaningful consumer protections, paid parental leave, and guaranteed paid vacation. I want police officers held to rigorous standards of accountability, where de-escalation is emphasized and deadly force is genuinely a last resort. I want Americans to understand that freedom isn't just about what the government cannot do to you. It's also about having the security and opportunity to actually enjoy your life. And before someone starts screaming about socialism, understand something. European countries are capitalist democracies. They have private businesses, entrepreneurs, private property, competitive markets, and individual liberties. They've simply made different decisions about what protections their citizens should enjoy. Europe isn't perfect. No place is. But pretending America has nothing to learn from other democracies is ridiculous. I served my country. I love my country. And I don't believe patriotism requires pretending that America is the best at everything. In fact, I believe the exact opposite. Real patriotism means wanting your country to improve, even when that means admitting another country does something better. I don't want Americans to have fewer freedoms. I want them to have MORE. More protections. More opportunities. More security. More accountability. More freedom to live their lives without being financially destroyed by illness, education, or circumstances beyond their control. And having lived on both sides of the Atlantic, I know that much of this is possible. We should stop asking why Americans can't have these things and start asking why they're expected to settle for less.
