Praying for Russell Brand, his wife and children. I do believe he is man who has genuinely found healing and forgiveness in Christ, but now needs to face the secular consequences of his sin. I pray he will continue to trust his Saviour regardless of what comes next. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/11…

I will introduce Reform's Shadow Armed Forces Minister, Wing Commander Angus MacIntyre, LIVE at 2pm. Angus has more experience than the entire government defence team combined. He has served in Arctic Norway, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Iraq and Somalia. The Tories and Labour have decimated our Armed Forces and betrayed those who have risked their lives for our country. Reform UK will rebuild our Armed Forces and right these terrible wrongs. Tune in at 2pm to hear more about the brilliant work Angus will be doing.

Just as I'm pleased that people on left are resigning from the Greens following its repositioning as a hard-left party, I'm also pleased that people on right are resigning from Reform. Time to put populism at both ends of the spectrum in the political dustbin where it belongs.
After considerable thought, I have resigned my membership of Reform UK and decided to rejoin the Conservative Party. Over recent months, I have become increasingly frustrated with Reform's embrace of left-wing economic policies, growing social conservatism, and a concerning shift towards nationalism, particularly its support for protectionist measures such as tariffs. I have also become disillusioned with the apparent lack of tolerance for internal criticism. Having previously received ridicule from Reform supporters for defending the principle that being gay or transgender should never be a crime, I have increasingly questioned whether my commitment to individual liberty is shared by those around me. Ultimately, my political ideology has not changed. I remain committed to individual liberty, free-market economics, limited government, and personal responsibility. Rather, I believe Reform UK has moved away from the principles that initially attracted me to the party. Whilst I recognise that the Conservatives are far from perfect, I believe they offer greater opportunities for open debate, constructive criticism, and the advancement of my political beliefs. @Conservatives

“The Thinking Muslim”Conference takes place in West London on 8 November. Azzam Tamimi has been described as a Hamas “special envoy” and as a “leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2004 he told the BBC he would carry out a suicide bombing in “Palestine.” UPDATE: Organisers say, Tamimi now cannot make it. Mazen Mokhtar is replacing him. Ghassan Hitto was described as an Islamist “close to the Muslim Brotherhood.” CAGE Senior Director Moazzam Begg, will also be in London. In 2004 a Department of Defense in the U.S. tribunal described him as a “member of al Qaida and other affiliated terrorist organisations.” The tribunal said he received “extensive training at al Qaida run terrorist training camps.” Other scheduled speakers include CAIR-Michigan Executive Director Dawud Walid, former Syrian opposition leader Ghassan Hitto and Neturei Karta cult member, Elhanan Beck, who calls himself a rabbi, but no one knows who gave him the certificate. He is close with Hamas leaders in Turkey. By the way, Walid, discussing Quranic interpretation during a 2012 sermon, asked: “Who are those who incurred the wrath of Allah?” He answered in Arabic: “They are the Jews, they are the Jews.” Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy @NJ_Timothy has written to Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, asking about security concerns, speakers' visas and whether she is happy for the conference to go head.

Because I’m the Shadow Minister for Defence Procurement Thomas.
Why does Tory MP Ben Obese-Jecty keep asking defence questions of the government in the House of Commons? If he's so concerned about defence he should be asking why his party devastated Britain's armed forces and defence infrastructure. @BenObeseJecty @KemiBadenoch @Conservatives

John Lewis made a Christmas ad where a grandma gets told off by a talking toy dog for putting cash in her grandkids' cards. The store has a very good reason to want that cash. Its own research says more than half of grandparents give money because they're not sure what to buy. That's a lot of Christmas spending that never gets anywhere near a John Lewis till. And John Lewis really can't afford to lose it. Last year its department stores did £4.9 billion in sales and kept £58 million of it as adjusted operating profit. That's about a penny and a half on every pound. Then sales dropped 2% in the first half of this year as people stopped buying bigger stuff. Hand a kid £50 in a card and it's probably going on Amazon or a Roblox top-up, nowhere near a department store. So watch how the ad plays out. Gloria writes the cards and tucks the cash inside. Pickles, a toy dog voiced by Paul Whitehouse, comes to life, scolds her, and drags her off to John Lewis. On Christmas morning the grandkids open their cards and find them empty, and then Gloria unlocks her "Gran Cave" full of disco lights and presents she picked out herself. The money leaves the envelope and ends up in a John Lewis basket. The dog doing all the lecturing is a Fisher-Price pull-along toy John Lewis has sold for 60 years, and yes, you can buy him. Kristin Scott Thomas's outfits and the stuff in Gloria's house are shoppable too. That's what bugs people who grew up on these ads. Back in 2011 John Lewis ran The Long Wait, the one where a little boy is counting down to Christmas so hard you assume he's dying to open his presents. He wakes up, walks right past his pile, and runs to his parents with a gift he wrapped for them. The agency behind that one, Adam&Eve, spent 14 years building John Lewis Christmas around giving. John Lewis replaced them with Saatchi & Saatchi in 2023, and the stated goal for that first campaign was moving shoppers from "consideration to conversion." The 2011 ad was set to Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want, and fifteen years later John Lewis picked You Can't Always Get What You Want for the one where grandma has to buy her way back into the room.
🚨BREAKING: The John Lewis Christmas Advert 2026 has become one of the worst reviewed in the stores history The comments on YouTube have been TURNED OFF There are currently 5 times the dislikes as there are likes The Plot: - Entitled children ignore their Grandmother, won't even hug her - She tries to give them nice, simple, meaningful toys to play with, they ignore her - She goes to John Lewis to buy expensive toys - The kids now love her It's an awful message featuring a diverse family as always

You could have said: “I'm sorry, I got it wrong.” You could have said: “I've heard your anger, and I'm sorry.” You could have said: “I've learned from those who know better.” But no, just rhetoric to “correct the record”. It's too late. 5,000 employers and small businesses in High Wycombe have heard what you really think: they're not working people. Don't be surprised if they don't vote for you next year.
Of course the brilliant men and women across the country who run small businesses are working people - they are the backbone of our high streets and our economy.

Minorities who break the law could be treated more leniently under the CPS “race bias” plans. This ideological change will bring yet more two-tier justice. Charging decisions must be based on evidence, not skin colour. We will get rid of all this dangerous nonsense.

This is well said, and there’s no prettifying where @TheGreenParty now stands: it’s targeted & defamed British Jews, and can reasonably be called a racist party.
'If I declared Islam was violent, you'd have an issue with it and rightly so!' @BenKentish and the Greens' @fahimaM100 debate whether it was radical for her party to brand Zionism as racism.

This is one of the most insane things I've ever seen. Imagine getting a total amateur, untrained, to do this, & then film it for kids!
Worth pointing out that currently every day on the Parliamentary estate three men in hi-vis are employed to spend all day preventing MPs and staff from crossing between buildings in case a reversing lorry runs anyone over at 5 mph. But in 1980…

As someone who (a) isn't from the USA and is therefore watching from far and (b) has never liked, and has publicly opposed, President Trump - especially for behaviour not dissimilar to this - some of the responses to this are interesting and worrying.
This is a really unpleasant encounter revealing a number of rather sinister aspects to this new senator’s mindset - not least the way he engages in physical intimidation.

Our map tracking Russia's Hybrid War against NATO has been updated to include the latest developments and cyberattacks across Europe. Created by DefenceGeek in collaboration with us. Remember, supporting DefenceGeek means supporting our work too. 👇
MAP: Russia's "Hybrid War" on NATO 2026 Update: 04/NOV/2026 Due to exceptional circumstances where Europe was hit by cyber attacks in the last 48hrs, for which the Russian groups "NoName057" and "Z-Pentest" have claimed responsibility, I have updated the map to show these incidents: - Blood bank in France targeted - Food fridge/freezer systems hacked (with varying degrees of success) in: Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Estonia, Ireland (not included on the map), Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Romania, Germany, Portugal, Poland, UK, Greece, Norway and France. As always, map pin locations are as accurate as possible based on public/OSINT information, and in the case of "nationwide" incidents (e.g. cyber) are placed wherever Google Maps decides is the location of that country.h/t @InsiderGeo nitter.cf/DefenceGeek/status/211…
