My god it’s like being stuck in a Black Mirror episode

Kane quería que lo llore el laburante, el pobre, el negro, el amante del fútbol, el pueblo. Así que no me importa si a vos, anti-futbol desalmado, no te conmueve su victoria, porque nunca lo vas a entender ni vivir.

“I had a bit of ability.” My friend, you were the best English player we’ve ever seen and one of the best players to ever play for Manchester United. Our all time top scorer. You spent years fighting in the shirt, for the shirt, for the fans. You have every right to say this.
"At least I ******* ran!" 😡 An emotional @WayneRooney tears into the Man United players after another humiliating defeat.

research suggests that women use exclusion, comparison and dethroning as competitive strategies while men are socialised to accept hierarchical ranking, in sports, work and friendship groups. side boyfriends accept hierarchy and side girlfriends contest it. In this essay I will
One thing about side boyfriends, they know their place and they also know they are side boyfriends. They also respect the main boyfriend and know the is such a thing. You never hear them saying we are all boyfriends because they know where they stand. I can respect that 🫡🫡 😭

In short, United were considering Amorim as one of the options to replace Ten Hag but decided not go fo for him, then decided not to replace Ten Hag at all, only to sack him 3 months later and go for Amorim, in addition to sacking the director of football who wanted to bring Howe instead of Amorim, then sacked Amorim a year later and thought about hiring Nagelsmann, but since he was unavailable, went for Carrick, who himself might be on the verge of getting sacked a year later, only for the club to go back to Howe, even though the guy they wanted after Amorim is now available. The way this has been going, a decision to offer another contract to Ten Hag would not come as a massive surprise. Elite planning and execution, best in class.

Work quietly. Don’t let the noise around you drown out the purpose within you. Work within your capacity. Don’t let what’s outside your control consume you. Work sincerely. Don’t let the approval of people become your obsession.

The five daily prayers are the most sophisticated anti-elite mechanism ever designed. Every system of knowledge in human history has been gatekept. You want philosophy learn Greek. You want law go to the academy. You want spirituality find the monastery, pay the priest, climb the hierarchy. Knowledge as power has always flowed through institutions that could be captured, corrupted, or bought. Islam said : five times a day, every Muslim on earth stands in the exact same posture, says the exact same words, faces the exact same direction, with zero intermediary. The shepherd in Mali and the caliph in Baghdad are doing the identical act. No priest can sell you access. No institution can revoke your membership. No scholar can stand between you and the prayer. The ulema exist, the imams exist but the core transaction between the believer and Allah requires nothing they can provide and nothing they can withhold. 1400 years later every other spiritual tradition is struggling with institutional collapse, abuse scandals, gatekeeping accusations. Islam built the decentralization solution into the architecture from day one.

realistically this is my problem but also I am far too stubborn to learn "short-term dating skills." I am not a dancing bear. I am not going to read a book about how to seduce. I do not "practice game," I will not "neg." I am EARNEST. and if that doesn't work, I die ALONE.
My boyfriend thinks the big problem with modern dating is that men used to merely have to demonstrate solid long-term potential to be considered. Now, a guy can't get his foot in the door without having short-term dating skills. He's not complaining, mind you. He purposely developed those short-term dating skills & they worked on me 😂 But he has a great point: there are men who are AMAZING long-term options who aren't even noticed by women because they never developed the traits that make a woman notice them immediately!

Resim cidden olağanüstü ama burada ve her yerde göze çarpan Filistin bayrakları, Fransız gençliğinin güncel dünya emperyalizminin şah damarına, yani soykırımcı ABD-İsrail blokuna saldırma basiretini de gösterdiğinin en güzel kanıtı. Göz yaşartıcı!
