Here's my issue. The original Crypt Keeper always felt to me like an ACTUAL BEING. It sounds absurd, but you can imagine him existing beyond the confines of the TV show. You know he's a Hollywood prop but you BUY INTO THE ILLUSION. The new Crypt Keeper is a rubber decoration.
