Let me be absolutely clear. I am against the death penalty because we have repeatedly seen our law and judiciary experts fuck up cases on an industrial scale. For that reason I am against aborting babies past 24 weeks (because it encourages desperate people to do desperate things) and I am against ‘Assisted Dying’ because it has been turned into euthanasia in other countries (check Canada out as @KelsiBurns has eloquently shown us). On top of the law enforcement and legal professionals we are now going to allow our care professionals (found desperately wanting in all areas) and our healthcare professionals (I have received multiple texts about vaccines that are utterly unnecessary) into the mix. I have skin in this game. A close disabled relative. Come for her and you will reap the whirlwind…and so will the people who voted for this!

TLDR I wish Rupert would write his own tweets. He could have just said “We are isolationist and we hate Nigel”.
Iran has cost the Republicans far more than anyone expected. It was a catastrophic mistake. And if Reform or the Tories were in charge, we would have gone to war right behind them. On day one, Restore Britain said no. It was not right for the British people, and we were absolutely right to draw that line in the sand. The consequences of ANOTHER pointless Middle Eastern war have reached far into the homes of ordinary British families. The price of petrol. The cost of heating. The weekly food shop. The mortgage. The small business struggling to pay its electricity bill. YOUR life has been made so much more expensive by THEIR war. Every pointless escalation has made life more expensive for people who are already being squeezed from every direction. For what? To what end? What has this war achieved? Absolutely nothing of worth. Restore Britain said no. Not because we support the Iranian regime. Obviously that is not the case. But because the first duty of a British government is to protect Britain and its people. And that very much includes protecting British families from the economic consequences of wars that are evidently and clearly not in our national interest. When oil prices rise, families pay more to fill their cars. Those moving goods face higher diesel costs. Farmers pay more to operate their machinery. Businesses face rising transport and production bills. Those costs do not stay at the petrol pump. That gets passed on. EVERYTHING gets more expensive. It is always the same people who end up paying. It’s not the politicians making grand speeches about international leadership. It’s not the commentators demanding military action from the comfort of television studios. It is British mums and dads trying to stretch the wage for a few extra days. It’s the pensioner frightened to put the heating on. The young couple wondering whether they can afford a home. The small business owner calculating whether another increase in costs will finally force them to close. They have been handed another bill for someone else’s war - a war backed by everyone on the right apart from Restore Britain. Farage said this is the ‘right one’, and 'the gloves need to come off’. That is VERY easy to say from a GB News studio. A Restore Britain government will put the interests of its own citizens before the approval of foreign leaders. Britain does not need another foreign war. We tried that. It failed, over and over. The abuse I received from Reform politicians for saying so was extreme. They were wrong. The Tories were wrong. Restore Britain was right. We need cheaper energy, affordable food, secure borders. We need to control inflation. We need to make our economy deliver for working men and women. THAT is our aim. Not getting dragged into another pointless foreign war. Our loyalty is to the British people. Our responsibility is to British families. Our aim is to make life affordable again for our people. And our answer to yet another unnecessary war was no, and remains no. No more pointless foreign wars.

Their children are not and were never going to be there. Now do Ukraine
A position which will be deplored, doubtless, by the war-mongering right wing media, but which will be supported by the vast majority of UK families who have no desire to see their children slaughtered for the sake of a forever war which was never theirs to fight.

Make an example of him and every other sex offender. Errr…you might want to raise your game on the “every other” part 👍🏼
George Madgwick has today been charged with 35 offences following rape and sexual assault allegations. Madgwick will appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court later this month. Read more: orlo.uk/lS638

Fuck off you pathetic little twerp
Today’s US midterms aren’t an isolated event across the Atlantic. That politics is taking root here with Nigel Farage’s Reform party, stoking anger and division. It is the worst of Trump’s America; we must never let it become Farage’s Britain.

Nope, it's not April 1st. This is really the nonsense our government is spending their time - and our money - doing. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Tory plant. No loss
After considerable thought, I have resigned my membership of Reform UK and decided to rejoin the Conservative Party. Over recent months, I have become increasingly frustrated with Reform's embrace of left-wing economic policies, growing social conservatism, and a concerning shift towards nationalism, particularly its support for protectionist measures such as tariffs. I have also become disillusioned with the apparent lack of tolerance for internal criticism. Having previously received ridicule from Reform supporters for defending the principle that being gay or transgender should never be a crime, I have increasingly questioned whether my commitment to individual liberty is shared by those around me. Ultimately, my political ideology has not changed. I remain committed to individual liberty, free-market economics, limited government, and personal responsibility. Rather, I believe Reform UK has moved away from the principles that initially attracted me to the party. Whilst I recognise that the Conservatives are far from perfect, I believe they offer greater opportunities for open debate, constructive criticism, and the advancement of my political beliefs. @Conservatives

How is Dan Norris getting on?
Truly shocking. Nigel Farage must urgently make clear whether he was aware of these appalling allegations. If he was, Farage must explain why Madgwick was allowed to stand and work as party staff. Reform UK are drowning in sleaze and scandal. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c63e…

On another note…could it be the case that celebrities who take on multiple endurance driven sporting events for charity are over compensating for something…?

I bet that news is screwing with his mental health right now… Maybe a judge could issue a court order to prevent it… No? Shame

I once got a hiding from my old girl for doing what those kids do in this advert. But I did also set fire to the carpet experimenting with matches so maybe it was for that… Anyhow, did me good and I wouldn’t change it
Good grief, but the John Lewis Xmas advert is AWFUL. It's basically an advert for buying gifts for ungrateful kids with terrible parents. The grandchildren are just plain rude. The parents don't notice or care. So the grandma decides to splash the cash on gifts she thinks they will like - so rewarding their rudeness! If I had a kid who behaved like that, they wouldn't be getting a single gift on Christmas Day. Not one. Oh, and of COURSE the ad has to feature a mixed race family (who make up 1.3% of all British families yet about 50% of families appearing in TV adverts) because, y'know, diversity. It's all so bloody irritating. 🙄

Where were you and your closest allies during the Boris wave then? Liar. Your party deserves to rot
Shabana has made a serious mistake surrendering to Labour MPs. So I’m putting people on notice - when we get into government we will scrap this weak policy. Immigration is too high. Labour are making a bad situation much, much worse. The Conservative Party is under new management. I accept this problem started under a previous Conservative govt. Many of those in that Cabinet have gone to Reform where they belong. And I’ve got a proper plan to fix it👇

30 years? A proper government will soon put that in the bin and everybody that is on that list
Under the Earned Settlement model set out before Parliament today, the right to live in the UK permanently will no longer be granted automatically after five years. Instead, it will be earned. Under the reforms: ➡️The standard route to settlement will double from five to 10 years ➡️ People who enter illegally, including by small boat, face a wait of up to 30 years to settle ➡️ Care workers who meet the visa requirements will retain a five-year route ➡️ Higher earners on more than £50,000, skilled public service workers and refugees arriving on safe and legal routes will be able to settle in five years ➡️ Migrants who claim benefits face a 20-year wait for settlement ➡️ Migrants with a criminal record will be prevented from settling in the UK ➡️ Migrants will be required to meet A-level standard English to settle in the UK

So over 80% of responses to the government's immigration consultation came from foreign nationals! Honestly, it's hard not to laugh. It's like one of those far-fetched plotlines from 'Yes, Minister'. How can anyone give it credence?
