Meet PiG: @pidotdev, rebuilt in Go as one native binary.
Live multi-language extensions, derivative harnesses (Piglets), and everything Pi just in Go.

🫡 was gonna be Rust but it really is not there yet iteration speed wise. Go is excellent for this purpose in our evals

We're prototyping native language support in Next.js, starting with Route Handlers and Proxy in Go.
This gives you more options for CPU intensive workloads on the server, alongside your React app.

Fair, good luck with your project! Also I have a repository named Buffon that benchmarks pi like harnesses if you ever want to use it🫡

haha last rip reference but could've called it rip'd
Fire project, keep it up 🔥

people of pi (durable). i did a round of performance optimizations in pi-durable.
quick primer. every step of an agent run is saved to a db before the agent moves on. 1 save = 1 commit. thats what makes it durable, crash mid run, resume from the last commit. ~12 commits per run
*ehm ehm* BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS DAY 📣
two new things cooking in herdr labs 🐏🧪
a brand new herdr-core, and a desktop app built on it. open source.
first, the app: software that fits you. every part of it is a file your agent can change. you just ask.
It has been quite an week, but now that I'm back to work: Today was a perf day!
dquickts:
- We specialized the rust bindings to integrate tightly with our fork: delivering anywhere from 3x to 200x speedups in routine ops.
Tern:
- 0.9.7 should be the smoothest version you have seen:
+ Faster shader compilation, animations, restyles, relayouts, as well as terminal parsing.
+ Parallel rendering for panes and windows.
+ Almost half the memory usage on MacOS taking advantage of the unified memory to avoid copies on the host side for texture buffers
- Windows remoting, nushell support, custom themes, native setup wizard for omp, and better rendering of structured data from eval cells
Tiny in comparison to what's coming but not a bad start!

The largest math proof in human history is now computer-verified.
Today, Axiom announces a complete Lean auto-formalization of the Classification of Finite Simple Groups, the "periodic table of symmetry."
About 15,000 pages, built by over 100 mathematicians across generations.

I’m glad you’re like PiG and yes I’d be open to this for sure 🐷

Congrats to @killa who solved stealmybitcoin.com hours ago but I screwed up which key went on the server (the flag was a root wallet WIF instead of the branch WIF).
Check out their awesome writeup here: github.com/KillaBoi/StealMyB…

Pi Pocket has come a long way, so here's a fresh showcase...no new release, the old one was just getting pretty dated!
Phone approvals, restarts mid-run, multiplayer, agent teams, PiP, extensions, themes.
Built on @pidotdev Pi Durable. Cheers!

@pomterree Congratulations to one of my good friends on launching nodecode.ai! I remember when this was just a dream of his, and it's crazy to see how far it's come. Wishing you all the best!! ❤️

Awesome, and sorry that was a typo I meant “are already planning support”.
Will also join the server, thanks!
