An interesting fact about this one is that it is a USSR cultivar. A lot of research and testing happened in the USSR to produce cold hardy fruits to feed vitamins to comrades.
If you have a cold hardy pomegranate or citrus fruit, it probably comes from Ukraine.

5 year old Nikita's gift tree.
An asian-american persimmon hybrid, astringent (eat overripe or dried), rich complex flavor.
I grafted that one myself, on a transplanted wild persimmon tree that grew in a neighbor's fence.
It's the time of the year when I tell you that persimmons are one of the most underrated fruits.
It is ultra productive and basically has no diseases, no pests, no worms...

"I leave this institution with a sense of a good job done"
Missed the inflation target for 5.5 years, 3.8% inflation, chaos in French streets, sovereign spreads blowing up, and continued economic decline.
Makes one wonder what a bad job would have looked like.

I'm going to print out this chart and make it my Halloween decoration.
