He’s a uke, an athlete, rich, smart, an alpha, dominant, somehow a psycho, AND he has his own aura… like be serious, how tf am I supposed to hate him? 😭
This just popped into my head. Is there a BL where the uke is a journalist investigating a case connected to a mafia organization, only to slowly realize that the seme, who happens to be a mafia boss, is somehow involved? They end up having to work together to uncover the truth, but the whole time, they’re also secretly investigating each other. 😭
They’re both trying to figure out what the other is hiding, but the more secrets they uncover, the closer they get. Eventually, they can’t even tell if they’re working together because they trust each other or because they’re slowly becoming obsessed with each other.
I love a slow-burn BL but not a SLOW-BURN BL looool 60 chapters in and there still isn’t an “I love you” or a confession. Wrap it up lol. 🫠🫠🫠
Just finished this BL manga about a merman and a human 🥹 I loved how naturally their relationship developed, and how the author made the story feel heavy and light at the same time. From chapter one to the ending, you can really feel how much they grew closer. I’m especially happy that the uke found trust, love, and peace with the seme after everything he went through. Their little moments of care and understanding made their relationship feel so genuine. It was such a sweet journey to read, and I really enjoyed it 💞💞💞
A BL trope that gets me every time: when they don’t fall in love because of one extraordinary moment, but because ordinary life slowly becomes unbearable to imagine without each other. 💞
