Since the October 7, 2023, terror attacks by Hamas, the Canadian government has transferred 600 million dollars to the Palestinians.
That works out to about $15 in Palestinian transfers per Canadian.
And where exactly has that money gone?
As @TristinHopper of the @nationalpost writes, while the government has insisted the money would only go to education and basic needs, it's most likely helped to fund the pay-to-slay program from the Palestinian Authority (PA), which rewards terrorists and their families for attacks against Jews.
It's also helped pay for textbooks from @unrwa that incite and indoctrinate children to hate Israel.
Let's also not forget that several @unrwa employees participated in the October 7/23 terror attacks, while Canadian money was flowing into the organization.
The question must be asked: Why doesn't our government take the necessary measures to ensure Canadian tax dollars do not go towards funding hate and terror?

Why is Canada seeking to deepen economic and security ties with an oppressive, autocratic regime?
On Wednesday, Foreign Minister @AnitaAnandMP announced plans to "deep collaboration" with Qatar, the middle east regime that is a refuge for the terrorist organization Hamas and where a same-sex relationship can get you 7 years in prison.
Qatar state textbooks also teach "Treachery and treason are among the traits of the Jews" and any women 25 and under need male guardian permission to marry or travel abroad.
Economic growth is important for a strong Canada, but means very little if our core values are compromised or discarded to get it.

Another extremist found living in Canada, planning to harm Canadians.
The RCMP have charged Louay Angoud, 24 with a plot to build a chemical weapon to poison Canadians on behalf of ISIS. Angoud was in Canada illegally.
Protecting Canadians is the first duty of any state. When someone with no legal right to be here can allegedly plan to poison our neighbours, Canadians deserve answers about how it happened.

Ottawa pledged another $100M for the Palestinian territories. Who gets it? The UN? Aid groups Hamas has infiltrated? The Palestinian Authority?
It hasn't said who gets the money. It hasn't said how it will be tracked. And it hasn't said what stops Hamas from getting its cut.
Before any of this money goes out, we're calling on the government to name every organization receiving it, publish its safeguards against Hamas and commit to an independent audit with the results made public.

The easiest way to see whether Mamdani's new antisemitism strategy comes from a genuine desire to combat anti-Jewish hate is to see how his supporters responded.
Those who didn't condemn it outright accused him of playing politics. Or implied Jews deserve to face rising hate crimes because of the war Hamas started on October 7th.
These ideas didn't come from nowhere. They came from the Free Palestine movement that Mamdani championed for years. His strategy says nothing about it.
How is it going to help with rising hate, if it doesn't name the source?
