Local football brings communities together. ⚽ Through @PitchingIn_, Entain has provided nearly £800k across 200+ community grants to help non-league clubs bring people together. Hear from former England star Stuart Pearce, club chairs, and participants on why this funding matters. 👇

It was great to visit @WorcesterCityFc and hear more about the important work the club is doing both on and off the pitch. Through @EntainGroup's 'Pitching In' programme, the club has received a £3,500 grant from the Trident Community Fund to help deliver inclusive football sessions for people with disabilities, making it easier for more people to get involved in the game. During my visit I had the opportunity to tour the facilities, meet some of the volunteers and hear more about how the programme supports non-league football clubs across the country. Grassroots clubs are about far more than what happens for 90 minutes on a Saturday. They bring people together, create opportunities for young people, support volunteers and play an important role in strengthening local communities. A big thank you to everyone at Worcester City F.C. and the Pitching In team for welcoming me and most importantly, for the work they are doing to make football more accessible to everyone. ⚽ worcestercityfc.org/ #football #worcestercity – at Worcester, England

Only 55 players have made it to 1000 senior games and @KEVIN11ELLISON is now among them 💪 Great to hear his reflections on the milestone for the @NonLeaguePaper after a day of celebrations at @vmfc_ - which he fittingly marked with a goal ⚽️ @Sportsbeat | @PitchingIn_

🔝 For @nonleaguedayuk 2025, we've teamed up with non-professional English teams that wear red and white stripes 🔴⚪️ 🗓️ However, with the day fast approaching, we also want to highlight some former @Athletic_en opponents from England that also play non-league football. 🧵 Open thread 👇
