Why can those on the Left so easily recognize misinformation on the Right but often fail to see it on their own side? Virtuous Nonsense brings together liberal contributors who not only see the problem but also want to fix it. Out now. @PsychRabble @omni_american @UtterlyModerate

En el libro 'How gender studies broke the university', Cynthia Burack, a través de su historia personal, explica cómo el 'boom' de los estudios sobre las mujeres ha convertido los campus en un lugar más sectario ideológicamente. bit.ly/4yMr1u8

For those interested, the "book about ethically raising children free from 'religious indoctrination'" referenced in the article is titled The Earthbound Parent (Pitchstone, 2018).
An atheist and a born-again Christian walk into a bar to try to prevent a nuclear war. This might sound like the start of a classic joke, but it's the opening act of an amazing story featuring lawyer and Pitchstone author Richard Conn. bit.ly/4svXqDU

Why do so many Western progressives align with Islamist movements that reject the very values they claim to defend? In When Marx Meets Islam, @CraigCons delivers an unsparing critique of this strange alliance and dissects how it increasingly threatens liberal democracy. Out now.

This is one of the most important books to drop in 2026. “When Marx Meets Islam: Navigating Radical Ideologies in Defense of the West” (Pitchstone Publishing) explores how the rise of democratic socialism and communism actively collaborates with Islamism and the Muslim Brotherhood, with the shared target of dismantling the U.S.-Israel alliance and undermining the West at large. Out October 13th. Mark your calendars, and let me know your thoughts on this topic in the comments.

Many popular self-help books teach that positive thinking alone can create life-changing results. But as @DavidGMcAfee explains in The Real Secret, the solution is not more wishful thinking but more critical thinking. Out now! bit.ly/47NVo8q

Yes, there's a problem: "Universities would be better off if women’s and other identity-based 'studies' had never been institutionalized in higher ed." So argues an emerita professor of WGSS, who offers a mea culpa and calls for campus reform from within. tinyurl.com/4eb5mzp5

Out today in the US! Cynthia Burack’s How Gender Studies Broke the University. It’s a serious, accessible, evidence-based account of how gender-studies theories reshaped academic culture. I recommend it without reservation. I narrated it. amazon.com/How-Gender-Studie…

How is it that so many kids suddenly came to believe they'd been born in the wrong body? As liberal journalist @AnitaBart reveals in her new book Sacrificial Lambs, the answer lies with our most trusted institutions and the adults who run them. Out today! bit.ly/47q1M6F

This isn’t complicated.
STATEMENT: President Trump may believe he has the power to revise the First Amendment with the stroke of a pen, but he doesn’t. Flag burning as a form of political protest is protected by the First Amendment. That’s nothing new. While people can be prosecuted for burning anything in a place they aren’t allowed to set fires, the government can’t prosecute protected expressive activity — even if many Americans, including the president, find it “uniquely offensive and provocative.” You don’t have to like flag burning. You can condemn it, debate it, or hoist your own flag even higher. The beauty of free speech is that you get to express your opinions, even if others don’t like what you have to say.

Praise for SHE/HIM/US, by Lisa Bellot, MD: "The harrowing experience of a mom with a trans-identified daughter who knows that her daughter is not, in fact, trans. [It] is moving, engrossing, and captivating, and is bound to be a comfort and inspiration to many." —@LisaMarchiano
