Plano East players are competitive, tough, and high character. They win on the court, win in practice, win in the weight room, win in the classroom, and win in the community service. They are great teammates on and off the court.

North Texas runs #TXHSBB.
Local teams won state championships in the eight largest classifications in the state this weekend, and in nine of the 10 largest. The only levels North Texas teams didn't win were the two 1A titles and 2A-Division I. North Texas doesn't exactly have a bunch of tiny schools like that......
6A-Division I: North Crowley
6A-Division II: Little Elm
5A-Division I: Frisco Heritage
5A-Division II: Mansfield Summit
4A-Division I: Kimball
4A-Division II: Carter
3A-Division I: Madison
3A-Division II: Paradise
2A-Division II: Lipan
The other three champs: Panhandle won 2A-Division I, Jayton won 1A-Division II, and Turkey Valley won 1A-Division I.

Texas State men's basketball forward DJ Hall had only one college offer up until Plano East won the State Title in 2024.
That program? Texas State. The Bobcats believed in Hall long before he was Sun Belt Freshman of the Year.
