FULL TIME at U-17 Women's World Cup:
USA 2, Spain 1
It is, especially at U17, an upset in the Rd. 16. Two-time champ Spain goes home. USWNT is heading to the quarterfinals vs. North Korea (reigning back-to-back champ). Maddie DiMaria's 12th goal of the tourney is the winner.
Hey! Not the worst on the Hopless Index. It's the little things for #SportingKC
Really fantastic stuff here on Kwaku Agyabeng. What a journey! #SportingKC
There is an incredible young man playing in Sporting KC's midfield as of late. His journey to MLS has been difficult, and he's triumphed at every turn so far.
Here's Kwaku Agyabeng's journey: from Kumasi, Ghana, to Kansas City. #SportingKC

Interesting. The press release from the league show the Comets with a women's team. I need more context.
We know the Astras are moving back to MO and playing in St. Joseph. Interested to see how this all coexists
Congrats to Arif.
Also, I still can't believe they use this ugly font. And it's on the jerseys!
🅰️-Town’s finest adds another honor to his CV 🥇
@atlutd2's Arif Kovac is the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro MVP, presented by @adidas!

KC officials: World Cup attracted 680,000 visitors to Kansas City. Original estimate was 650,000
Wicky: "I don't think the system is a problem. I don't think it's a tactical problem."
The full exchange on playing guys out of position at right back, or playing 4 forwards asking Andre to defend and the same mistakes keep happening. #SportingKC
Quote coming later, but Wicky and I had an interesting exchange about his tactics.
About putting players in positions to succeed. Not asking guys to do things that are weaknesses for them.
There was more to it, but he was emphatic the problem isn't the system. #SportingKC
Calheira: "I just personally want to say sorry to the fans and everyone supporting us."
"The supporters deserve better." #SportingKC #MINvSKC
Wicky on the record for most goals allowed: "It's obviously disappointing." #SportingKC #MINvSKC
Wicky on Bartlett and Wolff's miscommunicated that led to the game winning goal: "[Bartlett] runs away and we open up the whole center."
He said he spoke to him about what he should do in that moment, instead of "running away." #SportingKC #MINvSKC
Wicky: "I believe it's not a 3-1 game. 3-1 is a bit harsh."
In the 2nd half, "they pushed us around... with that said, we still have enough chances to score 2-3 goals and win this game." #SportingKC #MINvSKC

#SportingKC have conceded 3 or more goals in 16 of their 32 league games this season.
Kwaku Agyabeng injured on a tackle just before the end of the game.
When the final whistle blew, he immediately went down again. He's played a ton lately, so hopefully he'll be okay. The team basically has no midfielders. #SportingKC #MINvSKC
