Behind the Art - Count Dracula Q: The glass is clearly empty in his animation, yet the Count still takes his time savoring it. What exactly is he tasting? A: Nothing, really. It's all part of the act. As an old-fashioned gentleman, the Count cares deeply about maintaining his dignity. Raising a glass, savoring a drink, adjusting his bow tie—these little gestures say a lot about him. He may be running low on energy, but he still insists on maintaining proper manners. He even insists on calling his old dressing room a "grand dressing chamber," because, in his mind, everything deserves the proper amount of dignity. We wanted the humor to come from how seriously he commits to the performance. When he receives an invitation to the Red Banquet, he puts on his finest attire and arrives with a wine glass in hand, fully expecting a grand banquet worthy of his status. Then the arena gates close... and all he gets is grape juice. Suddenly, his fancy outfit and exhausted expression tell the whole story: this is a duke who is deeply disappointed, but far too dignified to let it show. Q: Why does the Count sacrifice his own strength to help his Minions? A: Because he takes his responsibility as a Captain seriously. This family's power comes from growing stronger as they draw closer to death, and we wanted to connect that mechanic with the Count's sense of responsibility toward his followers. Once someone has chosen to stand under his banner, he believes it is his duty to give them the strength they need. So even when he's already at his weakest, he still shares what little life force he has left with his team. Those earlier displays of proper etiquette aren't just for show. They're part of what makes him someone worth following. In battle, that contrast becomes clear: the Count grows paler and weaker, while his Minions grow stronger. Players get to watch their team grow stronger, but they'll also wonder just how much longer the Count can hold on. That's the trade-off at the heart of his design. By the end, he may be reduced to a tiny, weakened bat, but he'll still calmly command the counterattack, refusing to let his dignity slip even for a moment. Q: Does the Count realize that his outfit and dance moves are decades out of date? A: In his eyes, they're still perfectly fashionable. He has the confidence of an old-school performer, along with a bit of the stubbornness that says, "If I like it, why change it?" His vintage suit and disco moves come from the same place: a love for the things he knows and an unwavering confidence in his own taste. He starts his victory animation with a couple of light taps of his feet before smoothly breaking into his signature moves, proudly showing off his routine. The contrast is what makes it so fun. After looking completely worn out during battle, he suddenly comes alive the moment he gets a chance to perform. He doesn't see it as an awkward, outdated dance at all. He's simply celebrating his victory and finally getting the chance to show everyone his style.

Pumpkin King The purchase price of the next Pumpkin King decreases by 1 whenever the Captain takes damage. Pomblaster (NEW) Whenever he gains ATK SPD bonuses, his Magic Charge Up speed also increases by 50% of the ATK SPD bonus. Gourmand Baker (NEW) Ready: Feeds the Captain bread that heals 3/6/12 HP. From stealing ATK and speeding up Magic Charge Up, to restoring HP with fresh bread, this week's Astral Blessings open up even more possibilities for lineup building! How will you use these effects to bring out your team's full potential? [Extreme Challenge] — Temple Ruins The ancient magic left behind in the temple will randomly transform your 1★ Minions. But if you want to keep exploring, you'll need to offer enough power each round, or the ruins will devour you whole! With random transformations creating unexpected possibilities and Power requirements testing your survival, can you find your path through this ever-changing challenge? [Points Race Stages] Challenge — Cap'n Beetlejuice: Conflux Minions can merge with any Minion, transforming into a random Minion from your deck on promotion. But beware of the following effect: Ready: If you have duplicate Minions on the field, temporarily reduces the ATK of all Minions by 75%. Merging can create unexpected lineup changes, but duplicate Minions can also put your entire team in danger. Mastering when to merge will be the key to victory! Challenge — Queen Wasp: Starfall Ready: Remove the Minion with the highest ATK, granting an ATK bonus equal to 15% of that Minion's ATK to all other Minions on the field. Sacrifice your strongest Minion and share its power with the rest of your team! Choosing the right moment to trigger this effect is the key to turning that strength into victory. Challenge — Golden Beetle: Inflation Buying and selling Minions will change their prices! • Selling a Minion reduces the purchase price of all Minions by 1. • Buying a Minion increases the purchase price of Minions of that type by 2. Each additional Minion you purchase this round further increases the price by +1. • Round Start: Resets the prices of all Minions. Prices can change in the blink of an eye! Will you expand your lineup quickly while prices are low, or carefully plan every transaction? Your economic decisions will determine the outcome! Behind the Art - Pumpkin King Q: Pumpkin King keeps his eyes closed when he makes his entrance. Is he waiting for the perfect moment, or does he simply not think his opponents are worth his attention? A: It's a sign of both his composure and his confidence in his own strength. He drags his massive sword behind him as he slowly advances, the blade scraping against the ground and throwing off sparks, yet he never rushes. It's almost as if he's taking a moment to survey the battlefield before making his move. His entrance shows that he knows exactly when to make his move. Only after raising his sword and igniting it with eerie purple flames does he reveal its true power, driving it into the ground with a heavy strike. The round pumpkin shape, striking white beard, and oversized greatsword all come together to highlight both his imposing presence and the wisdom of a veteran warrior. And when the smoke clears, he still takes the time to strike a perfect pose. He may not need to rush into battle, but he certainly wants everyone to appreciate the moment. Q: After the Captain takes damage, Pumpkin King becomes cheaper to deploy. Is that some kind of "the more desperate things get, the better the deal" offer? A: Haha, you could think of it as the battle itself calling the King into action. At first, his high cost makes him feel like a true ace, someone you save for the perfect moment. But each time the Captain takes damage, the cost of the next Pumpkin King is reduced. This creates a sense of anticipation as the battle goes on, making players feel that the moment for him to step in is finally here. Once deployed, he also grants ATK to all Minions based on the Captain's missing HP. The price reduction from taking damage and the ATK boost from missing HP work together to show his role as a morale booster: the team has paid the price, and he steps forward to turn that sacrifice into strength. That's also why his calm, dramatic entrance fits so well! When the team is pushed to the brink, he's the one who arrives ready to take control. Q: Pumpkin King looks like a mighty warrior, so why does he also give off strong butler vibes? A: That's one of the most interesting parts of him. He's a veteran knight who has served Count Dracula for many years, so he carries himself with calmness, courtesy, and the habit of always thinking one step ahead for his Captain. His crown and massive sword show his authority, while his white beard and serious expression give him the wisdom and composure of an elder. Combined with his thoughtful nature, these traits create that familiar, reassuring "old butler" feeling. When he receives an invitation to the Mad King's banquet, he polishes his crown, puts on his finest cape, and insists on accompanying the Count. These preparations reflect both their shared respect for proper etiquette and his unwavering loyalty. We wanted players to see Pumpkin King as someone who can command attention when he enters battle, while also being the dependable old friend who quietly looks after those around him.

There's no difficulty selection, so get ready to face these fearsome bosses head-on. Points Race is moving to Boss Battle, and will be renamed Extreme Challenges! We're adding difficulty options, each ramping up the challenge. Club Coin rewards get a revamp! Club ranking rewards will be slightly lower, but the personal Club Coin cap is going way up. Play more, earn more! 🃏 Easier Deck Building in Points Race Points Race now lets you import standard decks, easily copy other players' decks, and share your decks directly in chat. No more rebuilding decks by hand over and over! Your decks will no longer be cleared when a new Points Race begins. They'll carry over unlocked, so you can adjust them whenever you like! 🧹 Co-op Mode - Super Blitz: Clear the current stage each week to unlock Super Blitz. Dear Captains, Since launch, we've received plenty of feedback regarding the climb in Ranked and Rumble Chess. We've heard you, and we've taken your feedback to heart. In the upcoming [Trick or Bleed] season, we're making that climb easier, giving you better rewards to aim for, and introducing Astral Blessings! This gives each blessed Minion an exclusive skill, opening up new strategic possibilities. 🏆 Glory Track: Permanent Upgrades Once you enter the League, a new reward—Glory Crowns—will appear among your Glory Track rewards. Glory Crowns permanently upgrade your League Reward Level. Higher levels grant more League rewards each season. Your League Reward Level carries over between seasons, meaning the longer you play, the more rewards you'll earn! ⚔️ Power Track: Bigger & Better New Bonus Trophy rewards are here, and they're available on the Free Reward Track! Reach 600 and 1,000 Power to earn +5 bonus trophies per win. Stack both bonuses to gain up to +10 extra trophies every victory and speed up your climb! The Power Track now goes further, with a brand-new third phase covering 600–1,200 Power. And there's more to unlock along the way! Meet two new Minions: Bamboscout at 800 Power and Will-o-Cut at 1,100 Power. 📈 Season-End Resets: Keep More Trophies, Earn More Rewards Season-end Trophy resets are now less punishing for players at 10,000 and 12,000 Trophies in Ranked and Rumble Chess respectively, meaning less ground to make up next season.
