In honor of Generals serving who were forced to listen to an awful speech, here's an awesome speech from General Mark Milley. “We don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator. We take an oath to the Constitution...
...and we're willing to die to protect it.”

I don't care what was in his system. I don't care if he was drunk. I don't care if he was high. I don't care if he was angry. I don't care if he was sad. I don’t care. THAT COP’S KNEE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ON THAT MAN’S NECK FOR ALMOST 9 MINUTES. Period. End of story. That’s it.

Such a joy and honor to get to sing on this brilliant cover version by @kasperbjorke of one of my favorite songs ❤️
My friend Amitesh introduced me to the @KasperBjorke cover of the ‘70s song “Seabird” by the #AlessiBrothers and I can’t stop listening. Both the arrangement and the song hit me. So, I thought I’d share.
I’ll post videos and lyrics in this thread.
ALT An image of Danish DJ Kasper Bjørke, a White man with brown hair. He wears glasses, a white dress shirt, and stares into the distance.
ALT A black-and-White image of “The Alessi Brothers”, two white men who are identical twins. They wear white t-shirts and white pants and lose with their arms folded across their chests.

Happy Birthday, David Bowie. 🙏🏼
I recorded this cover of Golden Years with @DexterStory and friends for my debut album on @PlugResearch a while back. Always gives me chills.

Breaking: A member of the Breonna Taylor grand jury just filed a remarkable motion asking a judge to release the entire proceedings of the grand jury. The motion strongly suggests that Attorney General Cameron's public comments contradict what was presented to the grand jury.

People should stop saying how many people police kill each year. Or, if you want to throw out a number, preface it with “at least” because, the truth is, no one knows.
What’s crazier is how many AREN’T counted
(A thread)
Take Breonna Taylor, for instance.
