🎱 Last week, we took on @QualityCareltd in our annual Charity Pool Match!
It was another great evening full of friendly competition, with both teams coming together to raise money for two brilliant local charities. We were playing in support of Survivors Network, while Quality Care Group were representing Pollard’s Promises.
It was the Quality Care Group who came out on top and in doing so they secured the larger share of the prize pot for their chosen charity! 👏
Having won last year's match, Quality Care Group now lead 2-1 across the three years we've held the event. We'll be looking to level the score next year!
Well done to everyone involved and thank you for supporting two fantastic causes!

✨ A brilliant weekend celebrating creativity across Brighton!
We were proud to once again support @DreamyPlace_UK, Brighton’s festival of art, creative technology and digital culture, which brought three days of creativity, moving image and immersive experiences to venues across the city.
Due to the weather, the @OskaBright Film Festival x Dreamy Place screenings found a new home indoors at the Unitarian Church in Brighton, but that did not dampen the mood as it made for a brilliant evening of film and creativity.
A huge well done to everyone involved in delivering such an inspiring programme across the weekend. It was great to see Brighton come alive with so many different ideas, experiences and creative voices.

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is HMRC’s system for reporting self-employment and property income digitally throughout the year, alongside your annual final declaration. It does not create a new tax – Income Tax, Class 4 National Insurance and the underlying rules for calculating profit all stay the same. What changes is the reporting process.
It has applied since 6 April 2026 to sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000, and from 6 April 2027 it extends to anyone with combined self-employment and property income over £30,000.
For those newly affected, the biggest change is less about the amount of tax due and more about how financial records need to be kept and reported.
Our Spotlight for October provides a practical guide for sole traders and landlords with income approaching the £30,000 threshold > eu1.hubs.ly/H0znkJ00
