For anyone who wanted the original iOS app of Pocket Rocket, it’s now available again on the App Store! Sorry for such a long wait. It was very precarious to get it back up. Enjoy yourself some lovely UI, Widgets, and launch reminder notifications!

Right on time for the Vision Pro launching in China, we've added the Long March rocket family to Pocket Rocket. We're hoping to bring every country's pride in their space program to the app. Here's a render of the incoming models.

All right, let's do this one last time... We are GO for VISION PRO APP LAUNCH! 7 years ago I taught myself programming to build things for AR. 4 years ago, we launched Pocket Rocket. Today, we launch Pocket Rocket for Vision Pro. vision.pocketrocket.app

Mostly done getting the app ready for Vision. Getting a much better understanding of visionOS. Even in the simulator, I think the new OS is remarkable. Hope you all like big rockets!
We’ve released v2.2 today. With it comes a feature that’s been asked for since we launched: fine tuning of the notifications you receive. This will be especially useful with the intense cadence SpaceX has achieved with their launches. And, we’re making a pricing change.
Given this feature, our recent rebuild of the entire app for reliability, our new notifications backend, and our launch backend, we’re going to increase our “Plus” subscription price from 0.99 to 2.99 USD.

I challenged myself with a one-day feature build out for Pocket Rocket, and I managed to pull it off. Granular subscriptions to launches. If you only want Starship launch notifications, you can have that. Will be available for subscribers. Submitting to the App Store soon.
If you're receiving notifications from the app, it's from an entirely new notification service that we built. So, it's possible that it's going to have some bumps while it's being field tested en masse for the first time. Please let us know if you have any issues.
We've completely rewritten the app from the ground up. The AR feature and Add to Calendar feature will be missing from this version, but will come back soon with better designs. This version is the foundation that will let us really evolve the app. Hope you enjoy -Tim
We're sort of doing a v2 again. But this time, we finished making it. It will mostly look the same for a bit, with the exception of the Launch Details view. But this rebuild lets up really rapidly add to or change the app. The current version... uhh... doesn't let us do that.
I'm going to be putting up a new build of @PocketRocketiOS on Test Flight today for iOS 17. It's a completely re-written app in SwiftUI. If you're running that version & you'd like to test, please reach out. I'll need some help. Keep in mind, you won't have notifications at first

Got @PocketRocketiOS's lovely little countdown timer converted into SwiftUI too. This is one of @aaronabentheuer's masterclass of design touches. I was really relieved to be able to recreate it on my own. (Ignore the type sizing-- it's incorrectly scaled up for this video)
